Dean sent us this interesting report from the Alnwick Castle set today, many thanks!

Filming for HP2 started at Alnwick Castle today, Monday. Again, local children from Lindisfarne Middle School were offered the roles of “extras”, although Warner Bros. were scouting for Asian/Oriental/Black pupils from the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle, about 30 miles away, last week.

The camp set up by Warner Bros. in the castle is enormous; certainly much bigger than last year. They have also set up a “library” in the Great Hall. Most of the pupils that appeared as “flyers” in HP, during the first flying lesson, received individual letters from W.Bros. inviting them to take part again (about 12 children). The rest were chosen by the school. Local Alnwick people were given the opportunity last Saturday to explore the HP2 set, as a “thank-you” for last year’s hospitality.
