But not that Harry Potter

The Queen’s Birthday Honours List, which was announced today, includes two names familiar to fans of JK Rowling’s series: Jim Dale, who does the hundreds of voices in the U.S. audio version, was awarded an M.B.E., and a Department for International Development natural resources and rural livelihoods advisor in Malawi named Harry Potter was awarded an O.B.E.

The honors are bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II but largely selected by the government.

The Leaky Cauldron is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.
