An Australian hardback first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was discovered in the donation bin for Lifeline Bookfest, a bi-annual auction that raises money for the charity’s crisis hotline. The book is estimated to be worth between $3000 and $4000 (that’s Australian dollars), and, according to the article, will be offered for sale next week at Abebooks.co.uk.
