Mike Newell Receives BAFTA/LA Award

Yahoo Entertainment News reports that Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell was awarded the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Artistic Excellence in Directing by BAFTA/LA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles). The special award was presented to Mr. Newell by Oscar® winner Cate Blanchett and (future Oscar® winner, if this editor had anything to say about it) Johnny Depp. Congratulations to Mike Newell, and thanks to Raissa for the heads-up!
