Richard Griffiths Wins Olivier Theatre Award

Actor Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon Dursley) has won the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award as Best Actor for his performance as Hector in "The History Boys." He was nominated for this prestigious acting award for his work in the theatre this year along with fellow Potter actor Sir Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore). This is the third major theatre award Mr. Griffiths has won for this performance, a few weeks ago also winning the Critics' Circle Award. Congratulations!
