Philip let us know that the London Evening Standard newspaper carried a report today (July 13) on all the victims of last week’s outrage (those confirmed dead and those who are still missing) and in its tribute to Carrie, aged 24, said that on the night before the terror attacks Carrie “interrupted her father’s painstaking redecoration of the kitchen to scribble on the wall, which had been stripped of paper: ‘Carrie Louise Taylor, 6 July 2005 – we got the Olympic bid 2012 on this day’. Next to that she recorded her other passion: ‘One and a half weeks to Harry Potter!’ – an avid reader, she had already ordered the latest JK Rowling.”
