Castwatch: Fiennes, Gambon Onstage in Sydney

Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) and Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) will headline the Sydney Festival in January 2007. As part of a collaboration with Ireland's Gate Theatre, the acclaimed actors will take the stage in honor of Samuel Beckett's centennary. Mr. Fiennes will perform a monologue dramatizing Beckett's post-war novella "First Love," and Mr. Gambon will reprise his role in "Eh, Joe" from this summer's runs in Dublin and London.
Both shows will be performed "in repertory from 9 - 21 January." Specific dates and times for individual performances will be not be announced until tickets go on sale on November 17. We'll keep you posted!
