Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has donated a ceramic egg as part of a fundraiser for charity. This egg, which was painted by Jo, is among many items to be part of an auction with proceeds to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland. Others who contributed to this auction include actor Ewan McGregor and authors Ian Rankin, and Alexander McCall Smith. The Edinburgh Evening news reports that the charity dinner and auction will hopefully ” raise between £5000 and £10,000 for the society. At least 150 guests are expected to attend. ” The event is being held this Sunday, March 26th, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
