On May 1, Girlguiding Scotland will feature a new series of interviews with "100 Inspirational Women" and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is among those on this list. Jo is listed on their website as part of their successful ex members, which also includes others such as actress Dawn Steele (Monarch of the Glen) and Lesley Hinds, who is the Lord Provost of Edinburgh. Girlguiding Scotland is Scotland's largest voluntary organization for girls and young women, and is similar to the Girl Scouts that we have here in the US. We do not know what this new interview with Jo will include, and we will update with more when we can. Thanks S!
Update: The Sunday Times has this new article mentioning this interview with Jo. This interview comes as part of an initiative by the GirlGuides to "combat the increasing popularity of celebrity culture among teenage girls."
