Avatar Image says: I can't believe i have to wait till November!!! Avatar Image says: Is that true, Prongs? :(Avatar Image says: when dose HP book 7 realese?Avatar Image says: I actually knew this some months ago... Yes, it's a bit late but I will buy it in July... My english is pretty good,I've got all books in their english version, so why should I wait for so long?Avatar Image says: dont matter :P i will read it in englishAvatar Image says: Spanish date for February/March 2007. A late translation and the worst of all is that is is an AWFUL translation. Spanish and latinamerican fans are in a very sad situation.Avatar Image says: I don't know when the danish version will be released, but I'm aiming for July anyway. The translation isn't very good, so its not a problem. I think the readers, who haven't read the english version are satisfied, but they don't know, what they are missing! So many joke and funny things Jo do with the language is just lost in the translation.....Avatar Image says: The French version is excellent. I have both versions as I use them to teach English to my wife. I cannot understand that anyone on this site could not read the English version as well as the translated version. Reading is a lot easier than writing, as we can see on this forum. One can use a dictionary when help is needed. Jo's writing style and vocabulary is very sympathetic to the foreing reader. It is a good source to improve one's English. In slightly more than a month we will all be immersed in book seven, regardless of our mother tongue. Sometimes, life smiles at us. Thank you Jo.Avatar Image says: Wait, please clarify this for me, I'm frantic. Does this mean the Greek translation will be released in November, or that the original book will be released in Greece in November? I'm an American, English speaking, and I'm going to be in Athens on July 21st. Will I be able to get a copy of Deathly Hallows in English in Greece on that day? Please tell me yes. I'm assuming yes. Because I was in Greece the November after Half-blood Prince was released, and that's when the translation was released. But I just want to make SURE. I don't want to have to wait too long :)Avatar Image says: I am also going to be in Greece when this book is released and I have been freaking out about this for a while now. Is the English version going to be available July 21st or are people just going to have to wait until November? This whole announcement was very grey to me.Avatar Image says: I'm optimistic, postogirl, but I've been trying to get a definite answer for a while now myself. I arrived in Greece in August of 05, a month or so after Half Blood Prince came out, and it was for sale, in English, all over the place, though it had not yet been translated. That said, I don't know exactly when it was released in English. It may not have been on the exact day that it was released in the states. Anyone who would like to enlighten me, please do! The good news, postogirl, is that if any place is worth delaying Harry Potter for, Greece might be it. In my opinion :)Avatar Image says: Woot, Greece! :)Avatar Image says: That's really a bummer that they have to wait until NOVEMBER!!!Avatar Image says: by that time, its certain that spoilers will have leaked. Avatar Image says: Well, in Denmark the english version is released exactly at the same time as in UK. Last time someone had forgotten about the timedifference (Denmark is 1 hour ahead)and almost released it an hour to early. The mistake was discovered just in time, and the stores were spoken rather harshly to by the UK publisher. Avatar Image says: woo...i'm italian and i hope we'll have the translated version before november!Anyway, even if the italian version is really excellent (i don't really know how they menaged to reproduce each single literary effect)i've already booked the english version on the net. If it can help someone who's coming to italy this summer i just wanted to say that i really don't think we'll have the english version in store during summer, i suppose it won't be available before late september.... ByeAvatar Image says: Emily, don’t worry. The English version of the Deathly Hallows will be released on July the 21st , so you will be able to get your copy in Greece!! Only the translated version is going to be published on November… And the original version of the Half Blood Prince was released on July the 16th 2005. Avatar Image says: Hey, you don't have to worry i'm from Greece and i want to inform you that on 21st July in all bookstores you will find the Deathly Hallows in English but only the childrens and adult version not the deluxe or special version. On November will be the release of Deathly Hallows in greek language. So, you don't need to worry... Wish you unforgetable vacations in my country!!!Avatar Image says: Hooray! Thanks.Avatar Image says: Guys, there's no reason to worry! Ever since Order of the Phoenix, major Greek bookstores have the english (Bloomsbury) version of each new HP book on sale, on the day is released. Not only that, but Eleftheroudakis bookstore (the Greek equivalent of Barnes & Noble, it's on Panepistimiou str. in downtown Athens) has already planned a release party on midnight of July 21st. :)
