i liked the book of deathly hallows Mrs.J.K.Rowling. i have read the book and it is very good.

    Avatar Image says:

Fun! I got 10/10 on all the parts. I hope they have one up for the final chapters soon.

    Avatar Image says:

I missed two… oh no!! ... great questions!!

    Avatar Image says:

    Ha! I got 56/60. Guess I’d better reread…

    Avatar Image says:

Yes! 58/60… I guess I need to re-read the part where Harry gives a wrong name (you just have to remember yourself, what that is, so you can answer correctly… :-) )

    Avatar Image says:

I missed one question. I couldn’t remember how many delecour’s came to the wedding. :-(

    Avatar Image says:

Missed two. Couldn’t remember what happened to Voldemort’s orphanage, and couldn’t remember what name Harry gave. Still, great quiz and I’m not too embarrassed about 58/60 after one reading.

    Avatar Image says:

That was so easy! I only got maybe three wrong overall. I’m proud that I remembered so much since my memory sucks so bad lol.

    Avatar Image says:

Thanks, i post it on BlogHogwarts.com

    Avatar Image says:

Brilliant test, I only got a few wrong total

    Avatar Image says:

    Easy peasy.

    60/60

    Avatar Image says:

Ten out of ten on all six quizzes! Of course, test taking was always one of my favorite things, in contrast to my total loathing of handing in homework, even if I did do it.

    Avatar Image says:

So close! I forgot Mr. Weasley’s status and what Hermione gave Reg Cattermole.

    Avatar Image says:

Piece of cake! 60 out of 60. Fun quiz though.

    Avatar Image says:

That was easy, I only got a couple wrong, bring on the hard quizzes!

    Avatar Image says:

    that was really fun!

    Avatar Image says:

    60/60, I’m good, haha…

    Avatar Image says:

56 / 60 Stupidity on two of the answers. Didn’t know on the other two.

    A great test.

    Avatar Image says:

I got 58/60… missed how many people guarded Harry – forgot to subtract Harry himself, and what the orphanage is now.

Loved this question: Who did Ron almost get taken by when he left Harry and Hermione?

    A: Death Eaters
    B: Gobblers
    C: Snatchers

Hee! There’s a Golden Compass reference there. :)

    Avatar Image says:

Okay, I’ll try to do this without spoilers. In Part 1 Question 7: Which character that we know from earlier books is the first to die? I put B, because we find out later that he died right after they took flight and A died later in flight even though we see it 1st. Did anyone else get confused by this question?

    Avatar Image says:

Jules – I noticed the HDM reference too! :) Wouldn’t it be great if Jo and Pullman worked on a series together?!

Only got two wrong – not bad since I’ve only read DH once!

    Avatar Image says:

yeah 60/60 and i’ve only read it once so far! :)

    Avatar Image says:

i did think about that, but i presumed as it was like a kiddy quiz, and the little kids werent as likely to think through timescales, just to think about actual occurences in the book: i guessed the one WE see first to be the one they meant.

But yes, it is badly worded.

    Avatar Image says:

That’s pretty cool, it was fun! I got like 7 wrong but w/e! That’s still good, I guess!

    Avatar Image says:

There is a typo. One of the options is Vernon Dudley but his name is Vernon Dursley :P

    Avatar Image says:

    Harry Fan07—

It isn’t a typo… Harry said his name was Vernon Dudley.

    Avatar Image says:

Great! Got only one wrong…couldn’t remeber what name Harry gave instead of his own…but I don’t think it was sooo important anyways. =))) LOL

    Avatar Image says:

I missed one out of all parts, the one where it says something like, “What is built next to Tom Riddle’s ruined orphanage?” or something like that.

    Avatar Image says:

I got all of them right!!! squeals

    Avatar Image says:

    Got 57/60 :]

    Avatar Image says:

I counted the Veela cousins, so I got the Delacour family count wrong… Fun though:)

What about that gigantic Leaky quiz? :D

    Avatar Image says:

Hell!! I gotta start re-reading the book.

    Avatar Image says:

That was easy, I got one wrong.

    Avatar Image says:

    I got 2 wrong…so 58 out of 60 so 96.6%.

    Avatar Image says:

57/60, and a great distraction from work for a few minutes.

    Avatar Image says:

I missed only one…and this was an easy one, I missed the last known owner of the Elder wand

    Avatar Image says:

Obviously, either the quiz was pathetic or we were brilliant :) . I got 58/60 (I admit – with some luck on one or two of the questions), and as I see your perfect results, I begin to feel a bit miserable :P .

    Avatar Image says:

hey but …wheres the last chapters? i missed 6/60 right now but oh well…lol i dont remmeber lil things but i loved the book

    Avatar Image says:

what i meant is i got 54/60 right lol

    Avatar Image says:

Sigh…stupid orphanage! 59/60. I love the quizzes, so bring ‘em on!

    Avatar Image says:

Got 55/60.Messed up 5 unimportant questions while remembering the important ones in the book.

    Avatar Image says:

awright! i can’t stop re-reading the book since it came out—looking forward to dive into this quiz! =)

    Avatar Image says:

60/60 bam! Easy easy stuff…come CBBC you can do betta than that! :-P

    Avatar Image says:

I missed three… I forgot at that point in the book that Dumbledore was the last known elder wand owner, what was built on the orphanage, and what color hair Teddy Lupin had as a baby… Oh well. I was surprised that I got all the rest correct—I only read the book once! :-) Great quiz!!

    Avatar Image says:

I missed one, though it says I missed two. In part 6, it’s on question #5: they actually have an error unless the UK and US versions are different. It’s the question about what happened to Ariana at age 6. The quiz says the correct answer is the first one (attacked by muggles), but I looked it up, and on p. 564 (US), it is the second answer (attacked by three muggle boys).

I sent them an email about it, so it’ll be interesting to see if they change the question or explain if the difference is because of something different in the two books.

    Avatar Image says:

I agree with kardio—where’s the rest? There’s still a out six chapter left! And they’re the really good ones, too! Mostly I’m complaining cuz I want to see some Snape questions… ^_~

    Avatar Image says:

I got 58/60. Messed up Mr. Weasley’s status & I did pay attention to the chapter numbers on the quiz so I got the elder wand question wrong!!!

i hope they add a quiz for the last few chapters

    Avatar Image says:

    all I missed was mr. weasley’s status… 59/60

    Avatar Image says:

missed 1, first 1 too, oh well. good quiz.

    Avatar Image says:

Ahh, missed one. I guess my brain didn’t think the former owner of the tent they were using on their ‘camping trip’ seemed significant. :)

    Avatar Image says:

59/60… and the one I missed was the very last question. I said Teddy’s hair was blue.

    Avatar Image says:

I think some of the answers to this quiz are wrong. Have you guys gone through and done it? Some of the questions are ambiguous, and they seem to suggest that Bellatrix doesn’t die.

    Avatar Image says:

GOT 10/10 ON EACH PART, LOVE THE BOOK. HARRY POTTER RULES

    Avatar Image says:

Got all of them correct! :)

Mind you, I’ve read the book twice already and I don’t think I’ll be able to resist much longer to read it for the 3rd time.

    Avatar Image says:

I got 60/60 and i still what to re-read it for the 5th time

    Avatar Image says:

Dithered on discipline question, 59/60, have read DH twice.

Eeyore – You miss-read the question which read “She attacked three muggle boys”. No, they attacked her

    Avatar Image says:

I know this is off topic in a way, but I just wanted to ask if there is a problem with the mac dashboard news feed? I’m not getting my news, you see… I suppose it might be because of all this very cool redecorating you’re all doing (amazing by the way!) Just wanted to say that I miss my news…

    Avatar Image says:

    60/60. :D Yayness

    Avatar Image says:

Oh, and I’ve read twice. Might read again soon too.

    Avatar Image says:

55/60 eek. I read the book in 13 hours so…I may have missed a couple parts. Didn’t remember Teddy’s hair color, and Dumbledores sisters name…one of the questions I knew, I clicked the answer and submitted before I realized what I did :( now I’m sad inside. Forgot who had the elder wand last too!! Well, I will re-read it once I re-read the whole series (for the 5th time). Only this time I am keeping a journal of all the clues leading up to the end!! w00t!

    Avatar Image says:

Cool game!!! Only five wrong answers…^^

I loved Deathly Hallows and read it without break (16 hours 40 minutes, he he)... But it’s hard to realise, that it’s over now cry...

    Avatar Image says:

Did I misread one of the questions?

    Part 2, Question 10:

“Who took the locket Horcrux AWAY from the cave?”

I answered A. Didn’t LV make Kreacher go to the cave with him to TAKE THE LOCKET THERE? I thought RAB was the one who REMOVED it.

    Avatar Image says:

Only got one wrong! Woohoo! It was the question about who took the locket to Grimmauld Place. I said it was RAB, but it’s Kreatcher… Oh well, not bad… 59/60.

    Avatar Image says:

2 wrong. Couldn’t remember Arthur Weasley’s status, and I though Teddy Lupin’s hair was blue.

    Avatar Image says:

Eeyore, the trick to the question about Ariana is that the second answer says she attacked three muggle boys. She was attacked by them.

Betsyjane, RAB took the locket from the basin but had Kreacher remove it from the cave. RAB was dragged into the lake by the inferi.

    Avatar Image says:

Thanks Dragonfan. I’m going to have to go back and read a few things again. I don’t remember there being a picture of a kittenon Harry’s poster in Umbridge’s office. I thought it was just a note saying “To be punished”. I must have been reading too quickly. I know there were putrid kittens all over her office though.

    Avatar Image says:

Eh, I missed 5 just because I hit the wrong answers, and I read it once, with a few hours of sleep for 3 days. Lol

    Avatar Image says:

DO NOT DISTURB SIGN IS OFF JK ROWLING’S OFFICE DOOR!

    Avatar Image says:

The best chapter in harry potter and the deathly hallows is undoubtably the princes-tale. Although the chapters that follow answer a few questions that weigh on your mind not only throughout the 7th book but also throughout the previous books! This chapter totally explains the inner depths of severus snape and finally I feel sorry for him and give him respect for everything he did in his life. Where the chapter before I was saying he deserved his death, now it seems regrettable and unfortunate. His love for Lily Potter is so strong that it outweighs everything else in his life as he gives it the most piority. This ultimately leads to the sacrifice of his own life. It shows unrequited love however it also makes you wonder had he never got involved with the dark arts or called Lily a “mudblood” he may have ended up marrying the then Lily Evans. This chapter shows a much more passionate and devoted Snape, the character I would least have suspected to fit such a profile. Although some like me may have guessed Snape’s killing of Dumbledore was pre-arranged I never imagined the depths to him that J.K Rowling has shown.

    Avatar Image says:

Drat, it’s two weeks old. I think I’ve been in a time warp anyway.

    zr

    Avatar Image says:

ZoeRose: the sign at jkrowling.com has been off for a while. She opened her door the day before the 7th book release and it’s been that way ever since. It’s the paper with her ‘acknowledgements’ on it. It was so sad =(

    Avatar Image says:

I got 9/9 on each chapter quiz! I need to get the book back from my friend asap!

    Avatar Image says:

I missed 4! Actually one I missed because I read it wrong and one I missed because I second guessed myself, but still.

I do not remember reading that Ginny was short for Ginevra. I had actually been wondering if it was short for something, so I thought I would have remembered that, oh well.

    Avatar Image says:

    100%! Yay!!!

    Avatar Image says:

59/60, couldn’t remember what color was Teddy’s hair, so I guessed and got it wrong.

    Avatar Image says:

Kate, I was caught off guard by the question ‘which death eater died’, but each quiz it based on certain chapters. It’s not asking who died, but who died in those chapters, so the answer is Peter Pettigrew, even though, yes, Bellatrix soes die later.

    Avatar Image says:

Only got 1 wrong on this, not too bad I think. It’s good to know I retained the details. Great quiz!

    Avatar Image says:

I got one wrong, the one about the last known owner of the Alder Wand because I thought that at that stage of the book we didn’t know Dumbledore had owned it yet. That’ll teach me not to cheat and look in the book!!

    Avatar Image says:

59/60. I thought Ariana was attacked by three Muggle boys….

    Avatar Image says:

I got 56/60. I’m really disappointed… but I have not reread the book yet.

    Avatar Image says:

sorry, but didn’t both Bellatrix and Pettigrew die?

and what’s the e-mail address to give a news tip to leaky? since the new website the contact us page isnt updated. thanks

    Avatar Image says:

Sweet! I got them all right. That could be because I’ve read it 4 times and am currently reading for the fifth time.

    Avatar Image says:

JKR stated in her website that her favorite funny quote was from Ron who said,’really captures the scope and tragedy of the thing, doesn’t it?’ Help me remember where/when this was said. It sounds very familiar, but I can’t place it right off. It bothers me like not knowing a star’s name in a movie.

    Avatar Image says:

    oops wrong comment section sorry.

    Avatar Image says:

Dumbeldore was a teenager, not a child, when he was friend with what it’s name.

I got a few wrong but I am quite happy with my performance, considering I finished reading it two weeks ago.

I will have it read to me in French this autumn when my wife will receive her French copy.

    It was fun.

    Avatar Image says:

    almost perfect scores! lol.

cant wait for the next chapters to be posted…

    <3padfootrocksmysocks

    Avatar Image says:

    60/60!

    Avatar Image says:

I missed the question about what had been built over the orphanage. Where was that in Deathly Hallows?

    Avatar Image says:

Got 59/60! And I missed the easiest question: who was the last owner of the Elder Wand. I found that rather confusing because I think that in that moment Harry didn’t know Voldemort had already got the Elder Wand.. anyway I’m happy with my result :)

    Avatar Image says:

    I got 57/60

    Avatar Image says:

    Too easy. 100%

    Avatar Image says:

I got 56/60… I feel good about that one. I lost ones that could’ve gone different ways had they been in different parts of the book. I didn’t see the quizes were broken up by chapters… oh, well.

    Avatar Image says:

I’m so at awe at how so many true harry fans are not as upset as i am if you read the book. how did harry sopport his family? Who ended up running the school? did hermine just have kids or did she become someone? and who took in teddy? Why didn/t harry if he married?Rowlings goes from battle to nineteen yrs later.maybe the movie will be better. What a let down????What happened to the others??mcgonagle, hagrid, the weasleys…..

    Avatar Image says:

    60/60 for this gal…

    Avatar Image says:

Kathy, if you want to know what happens to the characters, check the past couple weeks of leaky news. Jo did plan all of that out, it just wasn’t strictly necessary for the epilouge. Anyway, I thought the quiz was too easy.

    Avatar Image says:

Missed two! I forgot the color of Ted’s hair and the muggle who attacked Ariana. Drat!

    Avatar Image says:

All correct! It’s easy to say now: “That was too easy, nothin’ to it”

    Avatar Image says:

59/60, forgot the color of Teddy’s hair.

    Avatar Image says:

58/60. I missed the one about which day they got to Godric’s Hollow (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day…same thing) and Mr. Weasley’s “status” (tracked? watched? I can’t even remember which one it is now) but I think I got the important questions right! Most were pretty easy.

    Avatar Image says:

59/60% I missed one something about who ran something and i put dudleus deegle (i am sure i just murdered that name) please forgive me its 12 o clock here and i am exashusted.

    Avatar Image says:

Oh, and Malerie, I misread that answer the first time too, but it actually said Ariana ATTACKED three muggle boys…not that she was attacked BY them.

    Avatar Image says:

One wrong- I forgot what they called Mr. Weasley’s status. Hey, they all sounded like good answers!

    Avatar Image says:

    Wow – I got 58/60.

I forgot the tent belonged to perkins not runcorn (I thougtht they changed who they got the tent from – someone with lumbago) and also I thought arthur weasley’s status was ‘watched’ not ‘tracked’ because I remember harry saying ‘your being watched’ when he was pretending to be that despicable tall death eater.

    Avatar Image says:

56/60…How many to protect Harry (accidently included Harry); Ginny’s full name; Mr. Weasley status; and Baby Tonks’ hair color. It was a great quiz. Anyone know what happened about the prediction quiz given by Leaky before the book came out?

    Avatar Image says:

missed 2…could remember whether mr. weasley was being tracked or watched, and i thought dudley said i dont think your a waste of space…i didnt know he actually said thanks for saving my life lol..

    Avatar Image says:

Um, Lauren, Dudley DID say “I don’t think you’re a waste of space.” Either you got the two mixed up in your post, or something else happened, because “I don’t think you’re a waste of space” was the answer.

btw, I’m almost done reading the book for the second time. 59/60. If I hadn’t been re-reading, I would’ve had no clue what Ted Tonks’s hair color was.

    Avatar Image says:

I’ve only read the book once but I just got 57/60 right! Pretty pleased with myself. Also read it fast in just a few hours so I reckon that’s pretty good!

    Avatar Image says:

The best book! Totally agree with J.K. Rowling. 58/60…How many to protect Harry (accidently included Harry). ‘froggy818’ we are on almost on same footing.

    Avatar Image says:

Right, this is officially driving me insane; in part 5 of the quiz, the pic at the top is of two fans sitting in front of a giant DH banner with a silhouette of Severus Snape. I swear I have seen it before and know who the artist is but endless googling hasn’t coughed up an answer. Anyone???

    Avatar Image says:

””” How many to protect Harry (accidently included Harry). ””” Didn’t got tricked by that one. almost though. 4 mistake, not bad given how fast i read it lol !

    Avatar Image says:

60/60 Woo-hoo! Man’s greatest treasure is wit beyond measure!

    Avatar Image says:

I didn’t miss very many it was mostly wording on the questions that was confusing…or maybe I was thinking about it too much. Over all it was very easy and I missed four, one was the orphanage question and one was the elderwand question. One was what was Arther Weasley’s security status (all the words meant the same thing) couldn’t remember the exact word used. The other question was equal to the last, can’t remember what the question was.

    Avatar Image says:

That was what the question was…reading peoples posts….When did they arrive in Godric’s Hollow….Christmas Day was what i put and it was Eve…okay…

    Avatar Image says:

    58/60! Pride :)

    Avatar Image says:

I got 56 out of 60. A little disappinted in my performance, but I am only 1/2 through the book for the second time. That is still pretty good for an old woman ;-)

I think this is my favorite book in the series now. JKR packed so much stuff into this book, and how could I not LOVE The Prince’s Tale. Somehow I knew that Severus’ heart was not completely blackened and shrivelled like Dumbledore’s hand.

    Avatar Image says:

60/60 that was so easy. Bring on the toughies!

    Avatar Image says:

‘bellatrix’s parole officer’- when Harry was going through Arthur Weasley’s file in Umbridges office it clearly stated that he and his family were tracked.

    Avatar Image says:

Carebie- yes it was Christmas eve, Hermione exclaims this when they arrive and people don’t normally sing Christmas carols out on the street on Christmas day, it’s usually eve.

    Avatar Image says:

I felt emotions of harry , hermione and ron in each page. The best of all as it contains the answer to every question

    Avatar Image says:

56/60…I think that’s pretty good as I’ve only listened to the audio book twice. I couldn’t remember what Teddy’s hair color was, the last known owner of the elder wand, how many “Harry”s (forgot to subtract the real Harry), and Arthur Weasley’s security status. I can’t wait until I can borrow my brother’s copy of the book so I can actually read it, instead of listen to it!

    Avatar Image says:

There is one question that is wrong that only “Serge Gingras” has mentioned so far:

Quiz: Chapters 16-20 Question 5 Who was Dumbledore close friends with when he was a child? A: Severus Snape B: Marvolo Gaunt C: Gellert Grindelwald

The quiz states that “C” is the correct answer. This is incorrect.

Dumbledore only met Grindelwald after he had graduated from Hogwarts which would make him over seventeen and thus of age, therefore, an adult. With Snape entering Hogwarts when he was only eleven, technically, the only possible answer could be “A” (ignoring the fact that it says “close” friends). The real answer is, of course, Elphias Doge, but that would neccessitate placing the question among those from the first five chapters.

    Avatar Image says:

59/60 only missed one couldn’t remeber the name Harry gave. not to bad.

    Avatar Image says:

60/60, it was the easier quiz!

    Avatar Image says:

    Oh Yeah! 100%

    Avatar Image says:

Missed 4. Dang. Should’ve been just 3, but I answered too fast on the “Who took the locket out of the cave” question. I chose RAB before I looked at the other choices. Stupid. Haha

    Avatar Image says:

I got 58/60! I got the shape of Lovegood’s house wrong and some other minor thing I can’t even remember now XD

    Avatar Image says:

    68/70 points possible… OMFG! Oo

    Avatar Image says:

57/60. Darn. I forgot the pukingness, and the status of Arthur. I thought Harry said “You’re being watched..”

    Avatar Image says:

Missed 1 question… ticked arthur weasely was being “watched”, instead of “tracked”. Got all ekse right…woohoo…

    Avatar Image says:

59/60 only wrong on the Arthur being followed question. used whatched in stead of tracked

    Avatar Image says:

I agree with Lexi, I think question 7 in Part 1 is wrong: Question 7 Which character that we know from earlier books is the first to die?

    A: Hedwig
    B: Mad-Eye
    C: Hagrid

The answer was A <—Voldemort chased after the others first until he got to Harry (and then most likely left the scene once Harry eluded him) so Mad-Eye must have died first (or may have). It is a trick question…

Other than that, I got them all right…

    Avatar Image says:

JBrosch, I think the question mainly refers to who we (as readers) read about dying first. Hedwig was the first character we knew was dead.

    Avatar Image says:

Quite easy, but still nice. :) Just a few stupid mistakes and couple of inaccurate questions. I answered that Bellatrix died but it was Peter. I think that question means that who died in that chapter, and Bellatrix died later.. And I thought the last horcrux was inside Nagini, not Harry (question 5, chapters 31-36)? Voldemort did Nagini-horcrux after he tried to kill Harry when he was a baby, and the horcrux inside Nagini is destroyed AFTER the horcrux inside Harry, right? Or have I missed something important?

    Avatar Image says:

Katya… I agree with you aboout the horcrux question. I think it should be Nagini as well. That was the only question I missed. 70/71! Yay.

Although I got the question right… wasn’t it Ron who used the Wingardium Leviosa to get past the Whomping Willow, not Harry? or am I not remembering that part correctly?

    Avatar Image says:

I think there’s a mistake in the last quiz. The ‘right’ answer on the final Horcrux is supposed to be Harry, but we know it’s Nagini. She’s both been created after Harry and destroyed after the Horcrux in Harry.

    Avatar Image says:

At first I got 55/60.Now it is 66/71(as the quiz of final chapters have been released !).

    Avatar Image says:

I disagree with #5 on the seventh part. Technically, Nagini is the “final” horcrux (as the question asks), because the bit inside Harry was destroyed before Nagini was.

    Avatar Image says:

I think out of all seven quizzes, I missed maybe five questions.

On the third question of part seven, they ask which spell does Harry use to get past the Whomping Willow. It’s not Harry; it’s Ron. Oh well.

    Avatar Image says:

    I got one wrong :D

I got confused with the last horcrux bit. Nagini was last, but Harry found out last he was a horcrux :P

    Avatar Image says:

So didn’t anyone answer all 71 questions? or did they add part 7 after you all took the tests? I got 66 out of 71.

    Avatar Image says:

got two of the final ten wrong… oh well

Did anyone else realize that they asked “what spell did “Harry” use to get past the whomping willow” when it was RON that used Wingardium Leviosar to make the stick jab the knot that makes the tree stop moving?? I only missed the one about the Horcrux, but that one is bogus since they should have phrased the question better. They must have meant what is the last horcrux we/Harry find out about. Because Naghini was the last horcrux created and the last to be destroyed.

I agree with Katya and others. Nagini was the last horocrux, not Harry.

Also timewise Mad-Eye snuffed it before Hedwig.

The question about Dumbledore’s friend when he was a teenager is vague, he met Grindewald after he finished school when he was planning to go for this world trip with Doge.

60/60 The best test I have ever had LOL

    Avatar Image says:

Ok I just got another 10 right LOL There were only six when I took it yesterday and I didn’t notice the 7th until after I posted my results and read some more replys.

    Avatar Image says:

I wish there would have been harder questions.

    Avatar Image says:

pancrafts, the seventh came up recently…

I got 60/60 the first round and was flush happy about it, but now I got only 9 right on the seventh one, sigh! The resurrection stone question and the curse Voldy put on Neville stumped me.

Guess its time to re-read. Its just that I want to re-read the whole series in order. OCD!

    Avatar Image says:

I got 65 out of 70. not too bad. I loved the Quiz – it was fun and I can’t wait to reread it. Bring on more quizzes

    Avatar Image says:

OKAY. the last to be destroyed was inside the snake..so..REALLY. i should have gotten perfect>_> I suppose they meant, which was the last created or soemthing. meh.

    Avatar Image says:

I didn’t think that some of those questions were really right, though. Call me pedantic, but questions like “which ghost stole Ravenclaw’s diadem” are just incorrect – she wasn’t a ghost when she stole it. There were a few like that and I thought that they were just sloppy.

(And no, this isn’t sour grapes – I still got 100% right)

    Avatar Image says:

YAY 60/60 and ive only read it once!!

    Avatar Image says:

yay 60/60 and ive only read it once!!

    Avatar Image says:

I got 1 wrong, but I know I’m right… the book says Ariana was attacked by 3 muggle boys and I answered it that way and got it wrong…..but I’m not wrong!

    Avatar Image says:

Jules, there is a tiny difference between those answers in that question. :) Yes, Ariana was attacked by three muggles, but alternative B says that she attacked three muggle boys, which actually means that the boys were victims, not Ariana. So, C is right, she was attacked BY muggles.

    Avatar Image says:

They had a question in the last part: “Where was the last horcrux?”. They say in Harry but the one in Harry was destroyed BEFORE the one in Nagini. Harry’s is destroyed when Voldy casts the AK on him in the forest. After limbo land, Hagrid carries Harry back to hogwarts. Neville then defies Voldy, Voldy disarms him, puts the hat on him, which leads to the sword being summoned. Chaos ensues, harry hides in cloak, Neville uses sword to decapitate nagini, destroying last horcrux. That’s the order of events. Their answer is incorrect.

    Avatar Image says:

    ...and Harry’s horcrux was the 6th created. Nagini’s was done last when Voldy killed the old man in the beginning of GOF. JKR said so in an interview. (She was asked which murders led to which horcruxes…Here’s the answers best I can recall…Ring-Tom Riddle Sr; Locket-Can’t recall; Snake-Old man in GOF at Riddle House;Diadem-I want to say Bertha Jorkins but that doesn’t seem right for some reason. Cup-Hepzibah Smith;Diary-I think she said someone random…not sure;

    Avatar Image says:

i got 56/60..I got two questions on the last section wrong. Well, I was very upset when I was reading that because I thought Harry had died for a moment, and I wasn’t paying as much attention as usual. Did anyone else almost faint with love for Ron when he was going insane trying to get to Hermione when she was being tortured?? When they say he was half sobbing as he pounded the walls and that he was trying to apparate without a wand, I started to cry. He’s just so adorably in love with her. It’s sad that we never get to see any huge affectionate stuff between Harry and Ginny.

    Avatar Image says:

Locket – a muggle. Diadem – an Albanian peasant. The diadem was done long before Bertha was killed, as he had hidden it in the school when he went to apply for the Prof of DADA job. Nagini – Bertha Jorkins. Diary – Moaning Myrtle.

I also agree about the question on the BBC’s quiz. The last one should have been Nagini. I emailed them about that.

    Avatar Image says:

didn’t moody die before hedwig, they just tell us about hedwig first

    Avatar Image says:

    yesss…71/71! i thought it was really easy…

    Avatar Image says:

    70/71 that’s not bad, I forgot Arthur Weasley’s status… ;o)

    Avatar Image says:

Where is the final Horcrux? A: Inside the diadem B: Inside Nagini C: Inside Harry The answer was C How is this true? The last made was Nagini, the last destroyed was Nagini. Harry was only the last they found out about.

    Avatar Image says:

59 out of 60. Not too bad for an old man of 64!

I will sorely miss this series, but will have to muddle through with rereading them, again and again and again.

If only the movies were getting better, instead of worse.

    Avatar Image says:

Sorry, I got 69 out of 70. I hope everyone reads that book so well, that they all get at least 90%.

    Avatar Image says:

I think I only missed one total!!!!!! Harry potter champ is here!!!! This is deffinately my favorite Harry Potter book by far!!!!!!!!

    Avatar Image says:

YAY! I got all of them right! They were sort of easy, but you did need to think.

    Avatar Image says:

I got 10/10 on the first quiz..havn’t taken the others yet.

I found question 10 a bit odd…I assume they mean during the escape.

    Avatar Image says:

I agree with Brent. Technically, the last Horcrux was Nagini, which Neville destroyed AFTER Harry’s death and resurrection which destroyed the Horcrux in Harry. I did fairly well on the other questions. I think CBBC needs to get some of their facts straight.

    Avatar Image says:

Hey, not bad! I thought some of the questions were badly phrased, though, leading to some confusion on my part – for instance, whether the “last” horcrux referred to the last one created or the last one that needed to be destroyed. Good, though! I think I only got 3 wrong after a single reading.
