UPDATE: A few more photos have surfaced online from WENN. You can view these photos of an ecstatic Jo, as well as equally ecstatic students at the book signing, right here.

Many fans waited in the rain of a gloomy morning to get a glimpse of the Harry Potter author, one of them, longtime TLC Reader Chaya Coppersmith, related to Leaky her experience of the event. Describing it as “extremely well run” she along with her group were among the last to have their books signed by Jo and have the opportunity to share a quick moment with the author as she signed. She recounted her observations noting Jo being exceptionally gracious and taking time to make eye contact with each student as well as shake their hand during the signing. Jo again read from the third chapter of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” and took questions from the crowd of lucky students from New York City.

We expect further details of this event soon and will update you continually with further information.
