Dickensian orphanages ftw! But I hope the girls’ Quidditch uniforms are not quite as overwhelming – we’ll barely be able to see Ginny! As it is, Dan’s short… it’ll be quite funny when he walks onto the field!

haha did anyone else see the computer in the weasley’s garage? that’s so very ARTHUR!

and those robes are the shittt ;) but i quite agree it will be interesting to see if the girls have to wear such bulky things. and really now that i think about it, isn’t the seeker supposed to be light and quick and stuff? all of that would definitely get in the way… hmm, maybe they aren’t so rad after all :P

They kind of have to have Quidditch, it’s a big role in book 6- including the big H/G kiss!!! :)

I can’t believe I missed the videos while they were online. ;( BAHHH-RAAMMM-YOUUUU, WB! lol At the same time, thanks for putting HBP stuff out there for SOME of us to see…I don’t have DVD-ROM. cries self to sleep—not really.

They don’t “kind of have to have” anything, Libby. I mean, I haven’t heard any news about them now trying to incorporate S.P.E.W. for the EXTREMELY long-awaited RHR kiss. And you can still see the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M9QtKpidHU. It’s extremely awesome!!!

it’s still online just at a different link. i think it’s the one that Laura just posted. But I think everything looks awesome. I love the straight hair on Dumbledore and I love the quidditch robes. I love how she made the Gryffidor robes tougher than the slytherin robes. She said the Slytherin robes are going to be all fancy and the material is going to be all silky. Brilliant!!!

I think the kiss can still be awesome with out the SPEW stuff and it’s not like that’s been in the movies. It was a big deal in the books because Hermione had been trying to convince Ron for 3 years, but houselves haven’t even been in all the movies, but just the 2nd one. But I mean the fact that they finally kissed was the biggest thing, not the reason why they kissed. So I think they will probably change things a little bit, so that the kiss will just as dramatic. Maybe Hermione and Harry will lose Ron and they will be scared that he’s dead and then he can appear and Hermione will be so relieved that she kisses him. Something like that will probably happen in the movie.

Has the wardrobe lady read the book? I don’t believe it said anything about the older players playing harder then when they were younger. I believe it just says it is a violent sport. The helmets are ridicules and Harry gets his skull cracked so he can’t have the helmet. I know she said they are for practice but come on they are wizards they break a bone they fix it they don’t need protection wear. The shoulder pads and chest protection I don’t like because as someone else said the seeker is suppose to be light weight and fast and that thing looks like it would get in a seekers way. Plus doesn’t Ginny play seeker so is she going to wear that crazy outfit? Hey Dan when you put that outfit on question it by saying it hampers your movement as a seeker!

Moaning Myrtle is useless and there’s no point in bringing her back. She’s not even in DH. Kreacher and Dobby would be cool but I doubt they would bring them back since they have already introduced them.

WOW! Just saw the first part. I’m a bit undecided. I miss the original quidditch costumes where it was proper material, where as, like poa, it’s waterproof now, which I’m not into. The helmet?! EW! Glad it’s just for training. LOVE the Slytherin costumes though!

For those wondering whether or not Ginny will be wearing those pads for the uniform, the costume designer said at the start that they were knew uniforms for the SEEKERS and KEEPERS, and then the vid pans to show a costume for Dan and for Rupert.

The pads concept wouldn’t be so bad, if they’d thought of it from the beginning. That helmet….UHG!!! Atrocious.

Ginny does play Seeker in the final game though, so it’s still possible that she’ll have to wear the new additions.

And I just realized the book Harry’s holding is ‘Advanced Potion Making’ that belonged to the Half-Blood Prince.

already knew quidditch was in, but glad to hear they kept the orphanage.

You know the students and parents must be out of pocket forking out money for changes in school uniform all the time. This is the third Quidditch kit in six years at Hogwarts. It is meant to be a school team not a commercial team, oh wait Warner Bros can probably make some money out of this? Once you allow one new director to mess about with things you allow any idiot.

Dumb Question Alert … when was Harry talking to Arthur in his shed? I can’t remember that – was it just too fast for my poor eyes and he was talking to DD before arriving at the Burrow?
