If this is true…it’s pretty pathetic.

Instead of approaching a random Potter fan and giving them an experience of a lifetime, it’s OBVIOUS that this girl was only chosen because Mommy is an international superstar, and casting her daughter is an instantaneous recipe for FREE press coverage.

This sounds extremely Ritaish to me, and I would advise disbelief until a credible source denies or confirms it. We know Lourdes is a big HP fan (she has been to a premiere), and it is possible her family has the right connections to get a “Nigel” part or appear as an extra, but WB wouldn’t cast her in a noticeable role unless she actually has real acting ability and is right for the part.

She’s an American!!! And what part would she play? It’s just stupid!

The Sun is about as reliable as a chocolate kettle XD. I doubt they’d actually “asked” her to play anything. As pretty much everyone’s been saying, even if it is true, it’s probably just her mum pulling strings.

To be honest, I wouldn’t really be that bothered. If she can act and doesn’t flaunt that she’s Madonna’s daughter… fine.

Like others have said, this is the Sun that has reported this. If she is like an extra I don’t really care. I would only get annoyed by the fact she prob would get it because of who her mum is. But, saying that Cauron did cast Ian Brown as an extra in PoA, and they are both good friends with each other.

She is American….. *NO EXCEPTION should be made! I don’t care who’s daughter she is!!!!!! I really hope this is just a rumor….because if it isn’t I’ll be really upset!! WB don’t do this to us!!! #$&^$%#!!!

Hi, all! first, Lourdes has “dual citizenship”...That IS the truth, there… I heard a “rumor” that the ‘SUN’ is a UK version of the ‘National Inquirer’, and ‘Daily Mirror’. Both “reputable” sources, to be sure….(sarcastic smile) I’m from the US! I am an expert on “reputable” sources! (laughing hysterically) Aren’t they the ones with the ‘JKR’s Weightloss Secrets’????

I think everyone needs to calm down and take a deep breath. Remember that the Sun is not that reliable and WB did say last week that they were done with casting for this movie. If you want to be technical she is British because she has been living in Britain for half her life and she is still young that her accent couldnt be fake like her moms. Yes it is special treatment because she is Madonnas daughter but thats how life works. Money talks and bulht walks.

Sorry, I don’t want to be rude, but so what if she is American?? Hugh Laurie is not American and he is playing an American part, he is an actor and he is not using his accent. Why couldn’t Lourdes do that too (but the opposite way) if this is even true and she has lines??

She may have been born in america, but she grew up in england and i’m sure she has an english accent. I REALLY hope this is a rumor though.

I’m not a Madonna fan but I would have no problem with her daughter in the film,as long as she doesn’t speak. The girl who is on Dancing with the Stars in COS and she is diffinetly an American.I think in the background it doesn’t matter where someone is from [or as for as I’m concerned who they are kin too],people are people. It just reeks of jealousy to say someone shouldn’t be in them just because someone else doesn’t have the oppertunity. Besides this whole story could well be unfounded.
