As reported here previously, the press launch for the release of the “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” DVD was held in London over the weekend. The official website of actress Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) has been updated with the first photos from this event. At this link you can see photos of Emma taken by her father on the set of the films at Leavesden Studios in England.
The “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” DVD will be released in the UK on November 12, with the North American release date set for December 11.
Squeee! I’m so happy – saw the advert for “Order of the Phoenix” DVD on TV last night and rushed out to buy it today. It’s terrific! I really enojoyed the deleted scenes – they really ought to have kept most of them in. “Trelawney Eating” is fall-off-your-chair hysterically funny. She is such a terrific comedic actress! Viva South Africa – last in most things, but first in this. Squeeee!
The photos are not that bad so leave her Dad alone. :) On another note why is the DVD not available for pre-order on Amazon or retail stores websites in the US yet. It is just a month away and yet Amazon still says to sign up for information on the release date. Amazon, we know the release date let us order the darn thing already. I mean Sherk has been up for pre order for months now and I pre ordered my GOF DVD like three months before it was released. It just seems weird that the big retailers are not taking pre orders is WB up to something?
doubtful. Considering her hair was even lighter than this color in the last film, I think they’re going to go full-out Paris Hilton this time, with a matching pink bow. It’s only what they’ve been doing since Azkaban. sigh
Hahaha I agree, these photos are terrible! It’s funny how they’re trying to squash private pictures. Afterall, the pictures of drunk Emma beats this! Daddy Watson, you can do better!

Yes i can’t wait for that, to see tons of pics and promotion of Bonnie once everything starts to come out. Bonnie Wright rocks my socks off. I just finished watching The Replacements with Bonnie Wright 23 minutes ago. I beg to differ robert, but i am the biggest Bonnie Wright and Emma Watson lover in the whole wide world ever.

What does it matter if the photos are not top-quality? They are just informal snaps, of the sort that you might show your friends and family for pleasure. I guess Emma thinks they are quite appropriate for putting on her own site, which one assumes is meant to be appreciated by fans of a friendly kind not whingers and snipers. Some people!
(That’s ‘CONFEDERATE LADY’...big, fat fingers and sneaky “pointer”.) I agree with Ann Marie: Emma’s Dad’s pictures are for HER fans…not necessarily “all of fandom”. I think they’re great “snap shots”! JMHO

I’ve heard that the person who runs Emma’s official site has confirmed that Bonnie, Evanna and Matt were there too.
What a lame event, no offense.. PoA DVD launch for the win.
I love the trio, but we want to see the other actors! They are as good or better than the trio :-/

Emma said somewhere that she does not start filming until December. Maybe they are going to change her hair color once she starts. Wasn’t made blonder for Ballet Shoes? It really does not matter to me if it lighter this time I mean all the guys hair is not done according to the books anyway. How do we always end up talking about hair anyway. :)
Yes it was blonder for Ballet Shoes, i thought Emma had natural Blonde hair anyways? Yeah i know Emma starts filming then, and i am excited about that. But i want to know when Bonnie starts filming? Emma’s pics from Ballet Shoes i have to tell you she looks really beautiful in them.

I really think Emma’s dad is a wonderful man. Most parents wouldn’t want personal or self taken pictures to become public to a fandom of millions.
