The 24 missing hours is the time between Voldemort turning up at Godric’s Hollows and getting vanquished, and Harry being delivered to Privet Drive the following night. There has been a lot of (generally pre-DH) speculation as to what happened in that time, and if it would be relevant.
I wonder if the “Scottish Book”, is a reference to the “Scottish Play”, which is the Shakespeare play that it is supposed to be unlucky to mention.

I’d like to hear what she said about the “Steve issue”. I wonder whether you asked about it?
Obvious or dull – something Jo put in the make the timings right. I always thought that Hagrid rescued Harry as it was starting to get light, and just hid somewhere to avoid flying the motorcycle during the daylight.
I wouldn’t expect too much on the Steve issue – Jo is probably limited in what she can say because of the legal issues involved (probably the trio are to a lesser extent as well as Leaky and the Lexicon are affiliated to some extent), and I would imagine Jo has written most of what she could say on the issue on her website.
to cobbles- im sure that everyone was clear that the whole issue was with lawyers now. not the individuals. both i assume would have no comment.
