Wonderful, wonderful Pottercast. Thank you guys for this unique Christmas present! Love to hear the second part! I hope Jo will write the Scottish book in 2 or 3 years’ time and not in 10! I would love to hear about the Potters jobs and so much more! There seems to never be enough information from the Potter world :-)!

Kira-Kira, people called in with questions weeks ago, except they thought it was for an “end of the year special.” No one knew JKR would be on the show.

I really loved this show. The first 15 minutes just cracked me up, because it felt like it was a tribute to the pottercast fans who have been listening since the beginning. I love that she tackled so many of PC’s inside jokes. It made the show so special for this long time listener.

I think it’s funny that she isn’t exactly sure what happened in the missing 24 hours too. Remember how many theories were based off of those missing hours? It was the biggest mystery in the series, and our own Jo doesn’t even know what happened. LoL.

Thank you so much for this Melissa, John and Sue.

I have to echo all the positive sentiments. This was so great , can’t wait for part 2. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time while listening. Loved your reaction when she revealed the info about Hermione.

Now folks if this podcast wasn’t a great way to show you that you shouldn’t waste the first comment on posting somthing like “yay first comment” I don’t know what is. I can’t believe Jo picked up on little old me’s comment and remember that she liked it. This means a lot to me I can tell you.

Thank you pottercast! I can’t think of anyone who I would’ve rather heard interview her. Like JKR, you guys pulled this off with smart questions, sensitivity, and just the right amount of humor.

Yes! Jo WINS!

That’s great. She sounds just as I expected sweet, smart, and just a little awkward… socially; and to me that makes her even more endearing. She would’ve made a great comedian too.

She reeks of wit.

I have only now finished listening to this awesome – terrific – amazing – unbelievable great treat, you Melissa, Sue, John and of course our “one and only most beloved Jo” have given us. ( so sorry..I am so excited, I forget all the English words, may I write this in SwissGerman ?;) The whole day I was insufferable ( thanksfor the word Professor Snape :) because I had so much work (Christmas shopping, baking ect) to do and could not listen to PotterCast! Now I have, I just loved it…and I too was thinking that Jo talked with you like old friends – it sounded just like me and my family.when we talk about Harry ….only now…it was our IDOL our favorite writer, going into details about the books – Jo, you are such a marvelous person. My thanks also goes again to Melissa – if it were not of you – this would not have happened. Wish you all “Happy Holidays” – until next week – for part second of this Christmas-treat…!

Nimbus xl-

Boy, is that right! It just amazes me how odd some of these comments are…though I’m sure they will continue to be so, even though someone as influential as me says otherwise ;)

Okay, only one disappointment.

I understand it’s not realistic (and it’s amazing how realistic the whole crazy story is) but I would’ve liked to have thought that Harry would’ve been able to enjoy one nice quiet year at Hogwarts. At least Hermione got to.
