Hi Guys, can anyone help me? I downloaded the pottercast from the direct link but it stops playing after 515 … just when Jo stars talking. I have downloaded Pottercasts before with no probs … is this a prob with the link or do I have a prob at my end?

Happy, happy, happy! – that is spectacular news! Jo’s going to love reading that one!
Loved the interview especially the way Jo talks about the book world as if it is real. I do the same thing but people think I’m nuts! It’s incredible how many tiny details she knows about every character and everything else in the books! Ten years? I’ll be old enough for Social Security :(
Hope there’s some discussion of the Marauders next week but, if not, it will be a spectacular show anyway. The camaraderie among the PC Trio is always fantastic and Jo fit in as if she had been talking to them forever. Thank you, Leaky, Jo, PC Trio, editors and anyone else involved in helping this happen.

While I certainly do enjoy Leaky doing an interview with JKR, I feel like all the things I couldn’t care less about were answered. I sat there for fifty minutes, completely bored with every topics. Hannah Abbot??? SEriusly, who cares?? House Elves? Give me a break.
And Jo not wanting to tell us about how Horcri are created – I find that extremely disappointing. She seems to withold on all the interesting details while boring us with other stuff.

Alyssa: To me, any canon is good canon. I don’t understand how any HP fan could be bored by things like that, but I guess you think so.
It was so lovely to hear you guys talking! Melissa, John, Sue- I could just tell by your voices that while you were calm enough not to freak out and be incoherent, you were completely giddy inside at talking to Jo. It was very nice just to hear you guys talk! Jo has a lovely voice, doesn’t she? I am soo glad she cleared up the whole Harry-being-a-horcrux-but-actually-not thing. Also, I was facinated by her discription of Harry’s scar and why it hurt so much. Ah, this was wonderful! I can’t wait for the rest of it next week, you guys! Awesome job :)

Don’t worry, I’m sure this week’s mugglecast will be out soon enough ;)

Oh my God!!!!the excitement…I am sooo happy for the Pottercast trio, and I kinda felt I was talking to her too…And Jo said everything I hoped to hear and more…the perfect podcast!!Congratulations and thank you!!
I can’t help but feeling proud after all.I knew the name I chose was worthy.Herpo, the only Greek wizard in the Harry Potter canon(i am from Greece)!!I knew he was a capable wizard all along!(that is a lie)What can I say?...looking forward to part 2.Again THANK YOU for this wonderful oppurtunity
to (indirectly) talk to Jo!!I am proud to be a part of the LeakyCauldron community!!

AH! it’s soo funny from the beginning!!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Interview good so far!

Alyssa, for me, the little “silly” stuff like house elves and Hannah Abbot and such are what make the story so in-depth! If it weren’t for the little things, the bigs things wouldn’t be interesting. And certainly there wouldn’t be as much to be a huge fanatic over! Really, do you think it’s pointless to know about house elves? Maybe you’re not a devoted PotterCast fan, but for me (I am a HUGE PC fan) it was priceless and funny and, I thought, informative. Guess you don’t share that view, but I adored this PC!
Thank you so much for putting it out there, guys!

Brilliant! Loved every second of it, particularly because Jo Rowling sounded so relaxed. She seemed to just go along with it and have fun… she just sounds so completely different from every other interview that I’ve heard or seen her do that it’s incredible.
And wonderful sense of humour, too. I was laughing the whole way through!
I also thought the intro, with the whole phonecall thing was wonderful, and was giggling with antecipation the whole way through. John, Sue and Melissa seemed to be having such fun with it, it was wonderful to listen.
I think this may well be the very best interview so far. I can’t wait for the next bit!

YAY!! Im so glad that we got more answers!!! And the truth about Hufflepuff and the House Elves was just great! Congrats to Sue for being right! I love how she sounds so down to earth and its amazing how she talks to you guys like it was just another typical every day phone conversation about HP. It didnt feel like a traditional interview. Very friendly and relaxed. I cant wait to hear part 2!! Great work guys! You 3 are the best!!!!!
YAY!!!!!!!

Wonderful, wonderful Pottercast. Thank you guys for this unique Christmas present!
Love to hear the second part! I hope Jo will write the Scottish book in 2 or 3 years’ time and not in 10!
I would love to hear about the Potters jobs and so much more! There seems to never be enough information from the Potter world :-)!
