Melindaleo: “I felt so teased each time you all started to talk about the romance and the hubub after the HBP interview. I really hope you get back to that in part two because I’m so curious about what she has to say.” LoL me too. It was so frustrating they got sidetracked each time they were about to talk about romance. I hope that will feature in part 2

Nonetheless, great interview. It was such a pleasure to listen. Thanks Leaky, very well done. And of course: Thanks Jo!!

To the ‘Jessica Rowling’ comments; up there it says With special thanks to Rosi for being our Brit voice which I’m guessing is the girl on the telephone =)

I’d like to hear more about the Horcrux thing that she doesn’t want to mention!

How can Voldy want Lily in his Death Eater ranks when she’s Muggle-born?? He only wants pure-bloods like James and Neville, even if they aren’t really receptive to the idea.

That was excellent, my only complaint is that it was not long enough. The trio did a great job! Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks you, thanks you , thank you, thank you, thank you , thank you , thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

That was BEAUTIFUL! So hilarious and wonderful. Jo is by far the only ‘idol’ I have ever had, she is my inspiration to keep writing and maybe one day I’ll actually send my stuff to a publisher or an agent.

Thank you Jo for everything you have given us, Harry Potter, the charity, the website, the fan interviews and this podcast. You are amazing and it gives me such a warm feeling inside that you actually care enough about your fans to do this for us. Thank you!

And Leaky staff and everyone else involved with the podcast: THANK YOU! You did great and I can’t wait for part two!

Awesome, guys :DD When it ended I absolutely understood where Lockhart was coming from, lol xD

I looved that you talked about Neville and I’m SO GLAD she said that she believed Neville could have done it. I love Dumbledore, but I always thought it was a bit harsh that people thought Dumbledore thought Neville couldn’t have done it.

He could have. Neville = Hero

LOL @ Matthew Lewis being hot stuff. I felt the same way, Jo. I saw him at an awards show and my mouth fell to the floor. Is that…is THAT NEVILLE? lol I hope they don’t make him wear the fat suit for the end book. It would make sense if they let Neville become this buff disheveled, sexy, sword swinging Beowulf type who still had that sweet Neville heart, haha.

I also want to talk about Ron/Hermione, just because I love them to bits. Jo, JO, tell me Rose/Scorpius is canon. Just…just tell me. xD

I also wanted to know why you made it so that the Slytherin’s all left and none stayed to do battle. Out of all the children in the house-I mean-not ALL of them could be pureblood or Voldemort supporters. I mean, even if it was just two kids…I felt it was a bit odd for them to all have left. Is it possible that a few snuck into battle like Colin Creevy?

Oh Colin D: He was the only death I cried over.

The reason I feel this way is because your entire series is about not judging right out. On judging people by the decisions they make, and the Slytherin’s had a choice. There had to have been at least one who was brave enough and individual enough to say, no, I will not follow the rest of you. I know that their traits include being self-preserving, but so was Worm-tail, you know?

It just seem odd to me to set the entire series has showing the evils of putting people into categories, and then going along and saying every slytherin is evil and will always choose saving their own skins or following the crowd over protecting the rights of an entire community.

And no, I feel absolutely no pity for them as a whole, but I don’t exactly want to hate all of them automatically either.

I love the idea of Harry, Ron and Hermione graduating by using the boats. Too bad Harry and Ron never do, but I would have loved to see Ron and Harry watching Hermione’s shining face as she steps off the boat. Oh. OH. I feel fanfiction coming on! lol

In the 24 hours thing, personally I feel like one of the order who heard from Hagrid might have owled everyone they knew about Voldemort’s downfall, and with those owls went more owls and etc etc.

The fountain of fair fortune was also my favorite :D and that was just from the review :C I really do wish there had been tons of stories, lol, but handwriting it was a great touch. If only you had a quick quill or something. D:

Questions and topics: - Discuss Rose/Scorpius - Discuss Ron/Hermione; where the live, pets, anything you feel would fit, just for the hell of it. Like, how did Ron pop the question? All that! - Discuss the loyalty of the Slytherins and how the house changed in Albus Potter’s time.

Oh you teasers I have to wait a week for part two D: Oh it was awesome to listen to, so funny and some very interesting information. I hope she really does follow through for her ideal for the “Scottish book” it would be amazing and I really wouldn’t mind so much waiting them 10 years if we were to get that. I just wouldn’t want a book like that to be rushed.

Bloody brilliant! Besides being a fantastic writer, I admire Jo for being such a decent human being. To those with many gifts, much is expected, but she’s gone above and beyond what anyone would expect of her. And, we are all the more blessed because of it…

Took me nearly all morning, but I was finally able to download the entire podcast using my dial-up. It was my first pottercast, and was extremely enjoyable. Thank you so much for the interview, yet one more reason to absolutely adore Jo – she’s so “real”.

Can’t wait for next week!
