JKRowling.com’s secret “Room of Requirement” door (accessed by clicking the eraser on her main desk and then clicking the handle on the door) is now open, revealing the map of the future generations of Harry Potter characters. Jo Rowling drew this chart while being filmed for the documentary, “JK Rowling, A Year in the Life,” which will air on British ITV tomorrow evening.

i wonder whether it was Harry or Ginny who decided upon giving Lily the name “Luna?”; Who among the two of them is so fond of Luna to name their daughter after her? If it’s Ginny, i’ll feel great because they’re some kind of best friends at school. If it’s Harry, then i’ll feel greater seeing that Harry and Luna didn’t spent so much time with each other at school…

MuggleTonks: I think that Jo was right to name his sons James Sirius and Albus Severus… It may not be as lovely sounding as the other way, but Jo was clearly thinking in Harry’s shoes… He would clearly name his first-born son after his father and godfather as they were the most important men in his life. Harry couldn’t assume that he would have another son, so to be sure he would want to include Sirius’ name for his first born. Hope thinking about it like this appeases your worries :)

I must admit that I was upset that Charlie didn’t marry, but reading through everyone’s comments has helped me on this! And to those of you who think it’s a bit sinister or creepy that George married Angelina—there’s nothing in the books to suggest that Fred and Angelina had a lasting relationship. All that is stated is that they went to the Yule Ball together, and that could have been just as friends.

My favorite names – Lily Luna; and Percy named his daughter after his mom!!! :)

So glad that James’ middle name is Sirius, I think it’s right of Harry to give one of his son’s the name Sirius, after all Sirius was one of the most important men in his life. More important than Snape was even, and it just wouldn’t be right for Harry to name one kid after Snape and not Sirius, no matter what Snape did in the end. Or at least that’s just my opinion. James Sirius Potter, the teachers at Hogwarts better watch out, lol.

Charlie not getting married, that doesn’t bother me. What little we’ve seen of him, he didn’t strike me as the marrying type. Glad Percy named a daughter after his mother, maybe it was the guilt of what he did.

Lily Luna, it’s pretty, it’s nice they name someone after Luna, though I thought it was going to end up being Lily Nymphadora, in honor of Tonks, oh well. Until JK Rowling says otherwise in my head now Rose’s middle name is Nymphadora.

Maybe Ron and Hermione’s children don’t have middle names on purpose. I believe Jo has always said she was most like Hermione growing up and isn’t true that Jo doesn’t really have a middle name??? That would truly fit.

Poor Charlie unmarried and alone. Seriously, why does JK hate Charlie? He was rarely in the books and when he was it was to state why he wasn’t. I know JK doesn’t really hate Charlie, but you have to admit he seems to be her least favorite Weasley. Anybody else notice this?

Or perhaps Charlie is just a lady’s man and is not content with one woman, I wonder how Mrs. Weasley would react to that. Nevertheless I wish JK had developed his character further.

Hey guys, excuse me, but I’ve got this thing on my mind that’s been torturing me for 3 days….SHOULDN’T FRED’S DEATH BE IN 1998????? .....after a while….. Ok, I’ve read all the comments now and I see that I’m not the only one who’s noticed it… JK, JK… pay attention to what you say!!!! :) G&A: it breaks my heart because I wanted to be G’s wife… AHAHAHAHAH!!!!! No, seriously, I think they’re a great couple and they will breed a lot of fantastic quidditch players!!! Charlie: maybe he is gay??? Lily Luna: really cool name, but your tongue twists when you try to say it… it’s a tongue twister!!!! and a bit cacophonous…But I’m really happy because I’ve always thought that Ginny really loves Luna, and I think also Harry has grown very fond of her…

And I do really hope that the wonderful Scorpius Hyperion will be sorted in Hufflepuff!!!! Yeah!!!!

SORRY, i THINK I DRANK TOO MUCH BUTTERBEER ON NY’S EVE

Neville married Hannah Abbott. I think Charlie is to adventurous to be married. I love Lily Luna. Shows how strong H & G’s friendship with her must have stayed. No middle names for Rose & Hugo :( This is really great

I am over the moon about George and Angelina getting married. YAY!!! I do, however, wish they had named Roxanne a different name.
