Karen I'm so happy I finally figured out how to open the door and solve the problem on my own. I went to her site before coming to Leaky. I was stunnned to see the door open. I was hoping for chapter titles, but I settled for the W.O.M.B.A.T. :-)

Beth I am usually one of the people who has problems with these types of games...but it worked for me! From the main "desk" scene on her website, click the rubber eraser (hint = question mark). You come to the "door" room (nothing but a door, window, and a mirror). The fly will come out and land on the window. When you move your mouse over the fly, nothing happens (your pointer doesn't change) - but if you click on the fly and hold the mouse button down, your pointer turns into a key, which you have to drag to the lock in the door. Once the door opens, you have to complete the puzzle before you can take the test.

German Adam How is it possible that I lost my previous WOMBAT ID number again! This one was very intriguing. I think Jo may be a bit of a tease; this all will make much more sense after book 7

Tapanga On the 'Extra Stuff' section of JK Rowling's site (click on the hairbrush), what do I have to write on the blank sheat on the right? I know what to do with the eraser and I know how to pick up the pen and write with it but I don't know what to write!!! Also, what does that breeze, cackling and things breaking thing mean? Does it have any significance or affect to the site??? Please help me!!!

Becca BabyMandrake- I put 'Bezoar' for that one, as I had no idea what would cure it & that was the only potion-related thing I could think would work [only other option would have been NO CURE, I guess?] Tapanga- I think [if I remember rightly] that pen is the one where you have to keep clicking on it until it smashes; the ink will run about until you see a clue on what other things you need to collect. And the breeze thing has no significance as far as I'm aware.

Melle AAAARRRRGH! I followed all of your suggestions, and still nothing. My pointer just won't turn in to a key. Sigh. Does anyone else have an idea? Could there be a software update that I need?

Gina Well I just tried what was suggested only one hour after it posted on how to get in the door...(i.e. holding mouse button down on fly on window) and it didn't work. Must have been a limited time offer. :(

Melle I just got this advice online, and it worked... "you are most likely using the Text-only version, which doesnt use cookies to do the same stuff as on the normal site. If you are american or british, when you go to the main J.K. Rowling.com, click on the british flag (or whatever country you're from) and then you should be able to. I hope this helps!" Thanks JeffHpFan!
