Thanks very much dsg!
Those are some decent-sounding music, but I must say, none of those are in the same level as “Fawkes the Phoenix,” “Buckbeak’s Flight,” or “A Window to the Past.” I am a bit underwhelmed.
Rememeber, nobody, you only heard a small bite of the tracks. I loved the Dementors in the underpass. Id be creeped out to if I felt that when they got near..shudders...
I understand. I appreciate your pointing it out. Since I have not seen the movie or even heard the full version of the score, I am in no position to comment on the score’s compatibility with the movie. And I did not do so in my previous post. My previous comment was all about what I have heard so far. And as I have said before, I am a bit underwhelmed.
Wow, I thought it was great specially only for small clips! I cant wait to listen to it in its entirety and on the film! I was hoping to hear the accordion bits in one of the songs, as I had heard on the OotP website, but it wasnt in the clip… Also, I got chills on some of the songs and the Dementor song was nicely tied in with PoA’s dementor theme, and I would say, even creepier!
I can’t wait to see it with the movie and to actually hear entire tracks. I liked what I heard, but I’m sure I’ll like it much much more once I can hear how it’s really supposed to sound. YAY! The score is my favorite part about the movies.
Am I the only one that actually likes GoF the best? I love Patrick Doyle’s score. Listening to these clips this is my least favorite of the bunch so far. But I’m hoping that will change once i hear the whole album.
No Becky…you’re right. They kind of sound like the same….however…”The Death of Sirius” is the best on this track. It’s so cool and when the choir pops up it’s absolutely perfect!!!!!!!!
"Did everyone see that Grubbly-Plank woman?" asked Ginny. "What's she doing back here? Hagrid can't have left, can he?"[br]"I'll be quite glad if he has," said Luna. "He isn't a very good teacher, is he?"[br]"Yes he is!" said Harry, Ron, and Ginny angrily
