It’s not working for me either. And I did the quicktime upgrade, and it still didn’t work. :-(

But I’ve heard the part that is on the WB official site, and I love that, so I’m very much looking forward to it.

I would have bought this CD anyway, to add to my HP collection, but I really like the sound clips so my anticipation has increased. I’m just frustrated with Amazon UK because I can’t pre-order it yet!!

No hpbruin, you are the only one that prefers GOF’s soundtrack. I thought Doyle’s music amateurish compared to Williams works (first challenge especially!). I am encouraged by the clips I have heard so far, but it will be very hard for this music to beat Prisoner of Azkaban.

Really nice. Liked the dementors theme better than in azkaban. I do wonder how it will all sound in the film. Ah, it’s probable gonna be okay. By the way, could people please stop commenting on “nobody”. He’s not entitled to not like it, because he hasn’t heared the entire cd, but you are allowed to like, while you just heard 30 seconds? A bit hypocritical isn’t it.

Excellent! (use a Mr. Burns voice, please)

It all sounds very promising.

My expectations for this film are so unrealistically high now that I am certain to be disappointed when I see it!

i like the ministry of magic and the flight of the order of the phoenix. not too sure about the others, but i think it might be good once we can hear the whole thing.

It Is awesome isn’t it! Now I’m anticipating only for the OST to come out… From what we’ve heard, I think Hooper’s done a great job on this.

Love it. From the samples from the website to these album samples – I reckon this will be up there with PoA in my favourites. I especially love the Dumbledore’s army motif. Wow, now I can look forward to game, Movie, soundtrack and BOOOOOK. Is it my birthday or something…?

I think the harmony is far too american. I preferred the Englishness of the other scores.

And electric guitares?! W T F? :(

I like the description for “The Kiss”

“Lush strings swell as glockenspiel and chimes gently provide backing textures. There is no distinct melody here, but the chord changes create an emotional and almost romantic vibe. It builds up into a large crescendo full of warmth, and then closes nice and satisfied.”

Thats hot.

And i’ve only read the description. Darn streaming sites. i’m dying to hear them

And what would you describe as englishness? American harmony? what!? sounds like a blurred line to me… possibly I don’t know much about music. but I think that is being far too picky. You think of English people as not being so upbeat? I’m confused.

I know one thing though. Electric guitars FTW. It’s very Fred&George. Extremely them in fact. They are very rock and roll. With their dragon hide jackets and such sort. I thought that was the best bit actually. :S. Mix it with the visual of that huge firework chasing Umbridge and you have a clear winner.
