Several retailers are now listing the 2nd edition of the Harry Potter “Scene It” DVD game that we first told you about earlier this year. There is some additional information about the deluxe edition of the game at retailer which says the game will feature “new movie clips from the first four Harry Potter movies, including previously unavailable footage from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, plus questions, puzzlers and images from the 2007 release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.” You can also see some images of the playing board and the gamecards of the regular edition of the game from Entertainment Earth. Some additional details about the game are as follows:

  • Exclusive Trading Cards! Get 4 limited-edition, never-before-released Trading Cards from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
  • Harry Potter Inspired Tokens
  • Game DVD! Loaded with new clips, puzzlers and new characters like Luna Lovegood, Dolores Umbridge and Kingsley Shacklebolt.

We will update with more once the new edition of the Harry Potter Scene It? game becomes available in our Cauldron Shop.

Avatar Image says: I'd still like to know if they're going to release a refill pack for the people who already own the original version, it would be a little annoying to have to buy a whole game set again.Avatar Image says: I agree Tarah. I bought the last one and I`m not paying another £30 odd just for a few clips and questions on OoTP. Will this happen for the next two films too I wonder?Avatar Image says: completely agree with you! Upgrade our versions, please!Avatar Image says: I have the GoF one, and I think it's just because they want people to keep buying the Scene It! games that they probably won't give the updated versions to people who already have a HP game. I'm waiting until movie 7 to get another one.Avatar Image says: No way will they make a new one, where is the business in that :)? Avatar Image says: I don't suppose they've done anything with the new version to make it more worthwhile for people who actually know anything about the series? I was given the GOF version for Christmas and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The Movie questions were unbelievably easy (Who wrote the Harry Potter books?!? Are they kidding?) and the "Muggle" questions were quirky questions about the HP actor's backgrounds prior to the Potter movies that hardly anyone could answer. Leaky, send them your quizzes - they need better material!Avatar Image says: I agree with you, Libby. I have the first HP Scene It game as well and I think I'll wait until the 7th movie comes out to get another updated version of the Scene It game. I can't wait for that! Cheers, Amanda Potter
