Pardon Our Mess! Redesign Underway!

Fair, patient Leaky people: We will have a bit of dust and debris around here in the next few days, as we push through a long-owed redesign and shift our content. We have a whole new system running the site, a new/cleaner design showing it off, and have ditched a lot of the elements that have been giving people problems (phew). So, we really hope you like the new look, which our John Dawlish Noe brought forward and which has been executed by our lovely Super!Alex Robbin on our brand-new system custom-designed by SuperGenius!Nick Poulden. Lots more to come, but in the meantime, watch out for the nargles.

It makes me INSANELY happy to know that even after Deathly Hallows, this site is still climbing up and not winding down. Thank you Leaky for making my Potter experience one that I will never forget, and thank you for the awesome-ness that is sure to come!!

Lovin’ This,

Sue.

Long Live Harry.

It looks very nice—very clean, attractive design. I love the drop down menus. It makes it very neat and tidy!

Is the lounge involved in this clean up also? Because I am unable to access any threads in the lounge. I just get a database error and some scripting. Sad, because I want to go back to discussing DH. But I’m sure you’ll have it all working smoothly soon.

Thank you Leaky for being so awesome through all of this. :D

I love the new layout. It’s cleaner and for me a lot easier to navigate. What I really love about it though is that it’s still LEAKY! YAY!

Great job to all of you that put in the effort for the layout. I mean you folks are probably some of the busiest people in the entire Potter Fandom and yet you found time to re-do the layout.

Any of you who normally “live” at the poll comments, how do we get to the Yahoo thing that Deanie has set up? I’m about to burst from holding stuff in.

Hah! The system ate the URL I posted…

The RSS feed is providing URLs in this form: www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/#article:10219

As someone above says, this is actually taking us to the main page, rather than directly to the appropriate article.

The above link should be: www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/2007/7/27/jkr-gives-original-last-line-containing-scar-and-more-in-part-two-of-today-show-interview
