The first of many images and reports from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film premiere in London today are beginning to come online. TLC was in attendance at the premiere and will have our full report and pictures from the event online shortly. In the meantime, Reuters has one of the first articles online from the red carpet which includes reactions from a few of the thousands of fans who attended the premiere and features a number of quotes from the actors. Fans were “super excited” to see the actors arrivals, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) said of the fans reaction:

“Every time I come to a premier. I see more and more fans. It gets bigger and bigger,” she said, while adding of her character: “She’s kind of changing, becoming more of a rebel. but it’s kind of fun to play.”

Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) also discussed the film saying, in part:

“Toward the end of the film… there’s not many laughs to be had,” he admitted, while insisting that there were some lighter moments. “While there’s not actually direct comedy, there’s some really heartfelt emotion. “There’s goodness in it,” he said.

Getty has the first images from the premiere which can be seen here. They feature the arrivals of many cast members of OotP including: Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Katie Leung, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Matthew Lewis, Imelda Staunton, Harry Melling and J. K. Rowling. Photos from the OotP after party can also be seen here.

In addition, the BBC has a gallery of pictures online from the event that showcases the actors, fans and Death Eaters!

The Daily Mail also has a write up of the arrivals along with a few photos of Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint arriving (in the rain) at the premiere.

Channel Five in the UK also has the a video report from the event, which shows the fans along the red carpet and even features a brief appearance by our own Melissa Anelli and Sue Upton. You can view the short video report here in our video galleries.

Updates: BBC News has published a further article on the premiere that includes a few new quotes from J. K. Rowling as well as a short video interview with Dan Radcliffe on the red carpet. We have now created a OotP London Premiere Photo Album in our Image Galleries which will be continually updated as new pictures come in. More images can be seen via WireImage as well.

A third BBC report is in our video galleries thanks to roonwit. A reporter for the Entertainment 24 program spoke with author J. K. Rowling, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon) and Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) on the red (green) carpet.

More interviews and photos are sure to be online soon. Be sure to check back to Leaky for our own reports and photos live from the event!

I love how on Jo’s photo they put “JK Rowling and Unidentified guest” Her husband must be like “HEY, what the heck?” How could they NOT know thats her husband? The people that captioned those pics were morons.

I love what they’re all wearing. Emma looks gorgeous, but she always does. Dan and Rupert look oh-so handsome. Bonnie has great colors on, but I wish she would wear something more fitted. Her hair looks beautifully sleek. But, the dress’s cut really doesn’t flatter her. Katie looks lovely, but her hair is reminiscent of what she had at the last London premiere.

I think my favorite dress has to be Evanna’s! It’s so bright, nicely fitted, and really brings out her lovely eyes. She looks wonderful!

JKR looks beautiful and elegant as always!

Did all the fans actually get into the premier and see the movie?

No, the fans outside the cinema are just there to see the stars, and get autographs if they are lucky. They don’t get to see the film.

Love the pics (have only been through geddy so far). Emma looks really good… tan or something, but honestly, someone needs to teach her to stand. Not just her, Katie looks a little awkward too. Bonnie looks nice… she’s getting very mature looking, which is good, because I couldnt imagine the Harry and Ginny of movie 4, having the big kiss scene in movie 6. LOL! Love the way Rupert dresses: casual but dressy: t-shirt with a jacket. Dan always looks classy. Cant wait to see more pics, and the video with Melissa and Sue!

OMG, I wish I was there. The reporter didn’t seem to know what she was talking about because the square is decorated as the ministry of magic and Melissa ana Sue are some of THE BIGGEST fans out there, how does she not know…im glad they got on TV tho. I can’t wait for the U.S. premire!

Emma and Katie’s dresses were SIMPLY GORGEOUS! I thought they both looked VERY GLAMOROUS!

Dan looked GREAT, but once again Rupert had the grunge look. Someone needs to convince Rupert that he should DRESS UP at least some of the time. Come on Rupert…that look is just TIRED!

I saw the red carpet interview with Matt Lewis. He was GREAT AS ALWAYS. Matt, I LOVE YOU MADLY!

With the umbrella I can’t help but think that Dan looks a bit like Gene Kelly. Every one else looks great, but I especially love Evanna’s dress. Also does Rupert ever dress up. I like the lok but I don’t think I’ve seen him in a proper suit and tie.

Evanna’s adorable! LOVE her hair, plus her dress. All the girls looked great actually. But- where was Tom Felton? I saw him on the live webcast signing autographs but he seemed M.I.A. throughout the whole premiere. Did anyone even speak to him?

Nooooooo! Where’s the rest of the cast, the grown-up one?! Michael Gambon, Dame maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Jason Isaacs, Ralph Fiennes… Am I the only one disapointed?

True that as well! I was looking forward to seeing Maggie Smith- she’s awesome. And Jason Isaacs, he’s too funny.

Your not the only one lou. It was a poor adult cast turn out really. Robbie, Imelda and Brendan were there, I didn’t see anyone else from the current cast. I guess they’ll be at the US one.

Did you see the necklace Evanna is wearing? It’s her moon and rabbit necklace. So cool!!!
