Actress Emma Watson has updated her official blog with a note about work on her new film “Ballet Shoes,” and more. Emma says that despite last week’s update with photos from the set, she just completed filming on her new movie this past Saturday (the 15), and noted that she was very happy while filming and it was “quite emotional” saying goodbye to everyone. She also goes on to mention her fan mail which is sent care of WB at Leavesden Studios in England. Emma Watson says that she has not been able to respond to the volumes of mail due to her other work committments, and continues to say that she hopes better to communicate with fans via her official website which as she says “much quicker, and I can let you know more, more often.”

As noted earlier work has commenced on the sixth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Emma will reprise her role as Hermione Granger in this new movie.

It’s been over a month actually, 6 days a week. She got pretty close to the cast and crew. Glad she had such a wonderful experience for her first movie outside of HP. Hopefully we will be able to see it here in the states, either through PBS, BBC, or dvd. It’ll be fun to see her outside of HP.

She finished Saturday? She didn’t have much time between finishing out her break before doing rehearsals for HBP, and the post-production on “Ballet Shoes” seems really, really short if they’re going to air it around Christmas time (and they’re probably finish it in November in time to air ads and stuff) in the UK.

Can’t wait to see Emma in “Ballet Shoes” and HBP!

Goerge, was there any need to be so rude? Emma started filming Ballet Shoes a month ago (it was two weeks ago that she said she was half-way through filming). And six-day weeks is a lot of hours on set with the same people – of course you can get close to people that way. Apart from the fact that you spelled the word ‘liar’ wrong, you could always have avoided this news item if you don’t like Emma.

Oops, speaking of spelling, I meant to type ‘George’ – apologies [blushes].
