At a formal press conference covered by the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency, the cover art for the Ukrainian edition of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” was released by publishers A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA. HPClub.com.ua let us know they now have this very dramatic (and very spoiler filled) cover art, including the back cover art, available for fans. You can see this stunning artwork here in our galleries, along with the previous Ukraine Harry Potter books cover art. The Ukrainian edition of the final Harry Potter novel is set for release at the end of this month.
I’m sorry but I really don’t like it at all!!!
First, it looks like they are Rupert, Dan and Emma, and as much as I love the movies… books and movie are two separate things… and they should keep it that way. And Second of all….. That cover is a spoiler for the entire book… They recreated almost every single scene!!! I really don’t like it! It’s too colorfull, busy and I dont like the style.
oooo this one is nice!!! is it just me, or does harry look like dan from GoF? like a LOT like dan?

I love the covers, but if there was something that could give away almost everyy chapter and death in the books…it would be this cover.

That is so ridiculously cluttered and over-the-top, I find it to be relatively hideous. There’s just way too much going on. And WHAT THE HELL AT HOW RON LOOKS. That was really what put me over the edge.
I’m back to say something more because there’s so much opinion about this book. I think the people who don’t like this cover are trying to percieve it too literally. Shell Cottage has a huge-ass shell on it’s top because it’s trying to SYMBOLIZE the name “shell cottage”. It’s true it shows too many spoilers, but they are all subtle or symbolic. Who the hell would know anything about a weird head on a snake? Who would know that that was dobby dying?
I still like this cover. It’s true it’s a little spoilerific, but it’s got lots of symbolism, and that could be the mark of a good artist. I still don’t like them using the movie actors, but whatever.

In the first place congratulations by the beautiful Web that they have! I want to tell them that after long investigations I create to have discovered the spell to do horrocruxes! Contact with me, thanks please!
This is by far the MOST AWESOME COVER I’ve seen in the whole series!!
The details are amazing and obviously couldn’t be this complete unless the artist had an intense involvement with and passion for the books.
You all may call them “spoilers,” but I consider them to be a visual summary of the story, not understandable unless and until you have read the book. I had a great time recognizing items and offer many thanks to those who posted and helped clarify. Hey, I just noticed the sword of Gryffindor in the frozen pond!!!
I especially love the spine where the resurrection stone is broken – WOW!!!!!
That is so much more meaningful than the American cover with just an intact symbol.
I do agree that the depiction of Hermione is rather “over-the-top,” Supergirl boots, short skirt and all, but I could excuse the hair color as being the reflection of the fire.
Too bad they didn’t use Emma as the model for her character as well; she’s quite a bit prettier than this picture.
I wish I could read Ukranian merely to justify buying a complete set of books only to have ALL these MARVELOUS covers!!!!
I LOVE the Ukranian covers!! They’re so beautifully detailed and better than many other countries in my opinion. I don’t see the big deal about the artist using the actor’s faces for the covers either. It doesn’t mean that they don’t have an “imagination” just because they didn’t make their “own” look. Lots of the covers do that and the characters still don’t look exactly how they’re described in the books. Whether you like it or not the actors are the faces of the characters now…no matter how “uncanon” they may be.
The only complaint I could understand is the random hair switch between Ron and Hermonine. However if you look at the scene with Dobby, Hermonine is in the background (I believe) and she looks a lot more canon; so I don’t know why there’s a difference. But aside from that minor factor I think the cover is gorgeous and the depictions of these key scenes is just stunning! There’s a lot of spoilers but if you never read the book you wouldn’t know what the hell was going on!
I love it…I think that it’s awesome that there are so many covers for one set of books. So many opportunities for artists to interpret the characters and the story. Very spoiler filled indeed. I forget what the skull in the metal ball is…what’s that about?
Anyhow, neat take on a cover.
BTW, That’s really not at all how Hermione looks in the movies…hair color or not…and that’s really how I picture the other two when I’m reading. I’ve seen the movies too many times not to see them now when I am reading. (except Ron’s hair should be red)
It is fantastic! When I saw Hrry over Dobby I nearly came to tears.
Nagini has a human head symbolizing she is a horcrux.
I just wish the US cover is a beautiful I’d frame it and hang it over my fireplace.
Your’s in everything Harry
I really don’t like it… it’s too much… it seems to me that the artist didn’t know which part to illustrate, so he put a bit of everything in it… Nagini with this human head is absolutely terrible, and the three heroes look like too much their actors.
"It's our dad dying we're talking about!" yelled George.[br]"Your father knew what he was getting into, and he won't thank you for messing things up for the Order!" said Sirius angrily in his turn. "This is how it is -- this is why you're not in the Orde
