At a formal press conference covered by the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency, the cover art for the Ukrainian edition of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” was released by publishers A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA. HPClub.com.ua let us know they now have this very dramatic (and very spoiler filled) cover art, including the back cover art, available for fans. You can see this stunning artwork here in our galleries, along with the previous Ukraine Harry Potter books cover art. The Ukrainian edition of the final Harry Potter novel is set for release at the end of this month.
ohmydoublefreakinawd but this art is incredible! i LUV that tis the three of them there. i appreciate all the details they’ve put into the cover… but i think tis because i’ve read the book thrice (going to four) already… and know that the book is as action-packed as it looks. indeed, it gives a couple of (important) spoilers away. seeing the drawings beforehand loses most of the suspense as one might read the book the first time. but i still would like to have it as a floor-to-ceiling poster on my wall.
I really like this cover!! Just think about how Pottercast would have speculated on THIS cover if it had been before the release… that would have taken at least two shows. I love it… it really represents what the whole book is: a huge epic. I don’t really like that they used the actors faces either… but if you think about it it’s a really good marketing tactic. Dan, Rupert, and Emma’s faces are almost iconic for the HP industry now adays, so it would gain instant rcognition… not to mention stir up excitement for the next movies. All in all i think this is the best cover!
You really can’t please everybody! So what if the trio look like the actors? The actors REALLY look like the characters in the books. And comments about Hermione’s look…So what if she’s wearing a short skirt, she’s a GIRL!The fact that we can see her legs doesn not mean she’s a sex symbol or something.

There is way too much going on that cover. By far the worst…Its just too much..I really liked the spine and some other elements of the cover but it was overdone.
It is awesome and beautiful! They are the best so far next to US and Britain. But I do agree, there are some goofy things like why is Ron’s hair blond, and Hermione’s red? But great job anyhow.
US cover art’s still the best, although it’s a nice-looking cover.

I like that the trio look like the movie characters. They finally look like the young adults they are instead of kids. The character carring Griphook looks more like Bill than Dean. I too would like a poster of this. If you had not read the book, you wouldn’t understand what it all means. After reading, you will have a great visual representation of the book.
this is pretty cool, i love all of the details but –
why the heck is hermione’s hair red???
what is with nagini’s head???
what is that skull in the ball thingy???
they look too much like the actors, especially harry.
what is the building in the background on the back cover???
AND I think it gives away too many things.
but other than that it is very aesthetically pleasing and i like it better than the U.S cover but not as much as the U.K cover because of the things i have mentioned above!
if anyone can answer any of my questions that would be excellent!
I loooved the art cover! It’s so full of details and you need a lot of time to look at everything. I really liked Hermione’s bag, but I thought it would be smaller. I wish I had one like hers! I was looking at the other Ukrainian covers and I thought that little Norbert looked so cute on Sorcerer Stone! Check it out!
This cover is gorgeous. I saw that someone who posted found an English site that sells this version. I was wondering if maybe that could be posted somewhere? I would love to order a copy!
Украiньська!I think it is wonderful, but a bit overload.Well Done Ukraine!I’m really regret, that Russian version of Harry Potter books covers is American, but I enjoy American covers. They are so familliar for me…
I always look forward to the crowded & crammed phantasmagoria that are the Ukraine covers.
In fact, I might say that they always turn out to be my favorites. It always looks like the promotional poster for some old tyme style Disney reworking of Norse mythology done in marsepan.
Well done again.

The more I look at, the more I dislike it. It’s kitschy, too bright and gives away too much. OMG tasteles
