she’s so grown up and pretty now… sigh… I remember philosopher’s stone days…

1st post!?

Avatar Image says:

shes not as good as an actress as everyone makes her to be.. & yea she has grown though into a pretty girl

Avatar Image says:

hey i was there, lol, jk, duh. anyway, okay yeah she’s pretty-but if shes a bad actress its not going to help u much in that perfession. i mean she’s not horrible, but she’s not as great as she should be. But still, she’ll probably make millions more, since she started out on a billion dollar movie or something.

Avatar Image says:

That’s probably true Brianna.

Avatar Image says:

OH MY! she’s beautiful! as always! but beautiful! @ brittany and brianna – what are you talking about!? she’s really good as an actress. maybe you’re not happy with her preformance as Hermione, but lot depends about director too. I think she was perfect Hermione in first 3 films(espeially in PS and POA). and I don’t know have you two seen Ballet shoes? Emma was brilliant! great preformance-I cried because I was so proud on her. she started very young and she has so much to give. very talented.

Avatar Image says:

OMG! She just keeps getting more beautiful everyday. Plus, she seems really nice. Always a plus.

Avatar Image says:

I can’t get over how pretty she is in this picture!!! She’s more in the range of stunningly gorgeous to me. What is the age difference between her & Prince Charles??

Avatar Image says:

Nah..Ahh..Dah..Nah…... BAD LIPSTICK! Red Does NOT suit you girl! Stick to natural colors! Young girls do the ugliest things to themselves to force themselves look all old and mature! Emma of all people this RED make-up does not suit her at all, she looks her best when she uses natural colors! [/end of rant]

Avatar Image says:

eh katie…..

” What is the age difference between her & Prince Charles??”.......???!

rufly about 60 years!!!!

Avatar Image says:

Wowzers. She is an amazing actress despite what others may think about her. They dont just hand out “best si-fi female role” to anyone. Plus the other gazillion awards shes gotten since the whole Pottermania movies started. Shes like a huge acting icon. Anyone who thinks otherwise is rubbish.

Avatar Image says:

You are totally wrong about that. She is stunning in red lipstick! That’s what a lot of people said after Ballet Shoes. The director said it just absolutely took her breath away the first time she saw Emma in red lipstick. She looks like a young Marilyn Monroe, for God’s sake! And red and blonde are a classic color combo anyway, from the 1890’s (strawberry blonde) to the present day.

It’s really a very simple matter. Emma Watson is one of the most beautiful girls in the world-seriously-and it’s hard to think of anything she CAN’T look good in.

Yes, I remember the little kid on the Hogwarts Express too. Seems like yesterday. “Has anyone here seen a TOAD? A boy named Neville’s lost one. Oh…are you doing magic? Let’s see then! I think I have totally memorized the entire script of the first film, LOL!

Avatar Image says:

HPlover: You are rubbish if your tiny brain can not fathom what opinions are! And believe it or not, the majority of HP fans neutral HP fans mind you think she’s been a very bad Herm since GoF at least! So go wash your brain from all the rubbish swimming inside it, and learn to accept and respect other people’s opinions!

Avatar Image says:

Emma has an innocent face, hence the red does not suit her! She is not a God, for God sake, evey human being can look bad in somethings, no matter how much you love them ;)

Avatar Image says:

Who said she looked bad?

Avatar Image says:

Who?

Avatar Image says:

Ms. Watson, Mr. Grint, and Mr. Radcliffe ALL have talent. During the first two movies, at least, talent didn’t really pay a large part in the success of the movies; after all, they were young teens playing the part of young teens. As the movie series progresses, they will need to become more skilled in their acting abilities. The talent is there. Look at their facial expressions in each scene! You will find the talent not only in their facial expressions but in their delivery of their lines. Why do some of you choose to find fault with cosmetics? She is just a young lady. Give her a break!

Yes, i think i just don’t like the fact that in every movie she gets further and further away from her character, hence i can not take her siriusly. But yes, she was pretty okay in ballet shoes, but i dont like her as Hermione anymore.

Avatar Image says:

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

I WAS IN WINDSOR YESTERDAY!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I MISSED HER sobs loudly

Avatar Image says:

TO: mazza

I got my princes mixed up!!!!!!! I’m American… is Prince Charles the old guy?? Whups. How about Prince William?? I just love the sound of Princess Emma… : )

Avatar Image says:

Ugh Robin…

DO NOT COMPARE EMMA WATSON TO MARILYN MONROE!!!!!!!!
Avatar Image says:

Posh, very posh, like Victoria Beckham II lol

Avatar Image says:

my, what a beauty she has grown into. i for one still remember the gosh-aweful bangs she had at the “CoS” premier!!! lol. i think she’s trying to make bright red lipstick her “thing”. shes been wearing it at every recent event!

Avatar Image says:

I think Emma looked very pretty and her dress was very pretty too, except for the string thingy that hung off the right side. Could have done without that. Otherwise, she was just lovely! It’s nice seeing pictures of her. :)

Avatar Image says:

She looks lovely, as usual. I don’t know why some of you fixate on irrelevant things. This post isn’t about her acting (rolls eyes).

Oh, and Leaky, to be fair, Dan was at some big cricket match and was photographed. Are you planning on posting those photos?

Avatar Image says:

The Charles Anastase dress she’s wearing isn’t my favorite thing she’s worn, I always prefer her in Chanel, but she still looks beautiful as usual even with that weird string hanging off that one side. I have the same Louis Vuitton oversized clutch but in grey patent, I love the black too though. The red lipstick looks fine. I respect that everyone has an opinion and I respect those opinions, but I feel like some people should think before they type of how they would like someone judging every little thing about them the way that they seem to do to Emma or any of the actors for that matter. I’m not talking about everyone on this site, just some seem to enjoy picking these kids apart piece by piece and that is sad.

Avatar Image says:

“She looks lovely, as usual. I don’t know why some of you fixate on irrelevant things. This post isn’t about her acting (rolls eyes).”

Good point bebe! and thanks for the info about Dan. I had no idea, I’ll have to go hunt down those pics.

Avatar Image says:

In her defense, she cant help where the director and the script write take her character. I think she’s done fine with what she’s given (except: too much eyebrow in OOTP, but that’s also the directors fault).

she looks good, but what is that string? is the dress unraveling, or is it some couture thing that I’m not getting?

Avatar Image says:

she’s beautiful. absolutely gorgeous.

i would not have gone to this event. me and polo do not agree. easily bored

Avatar Image says:

She looks good but she really needs to work on her posture. Aren’t there about 150,000 old British ladies lining up to teach her this?

Avatar Image says:

Sigh. I wish I looked like her.

Avatar Image says:

Beth A, the eyebrow thing is not an one-movie deal. Emma has been an eyebrow actress since the first film. Personally, I think Emma’s an okay actress. She isn’t horrible, but she definitely could be better. I guess these feelings spawned from disappointment. While I feel Dan and Rupert have improved, Emma has remained stagnant. It would be different if she did really well in one film and not so well in the next, because then it would show that she’s capable of something better. This is not the case, though. Well, at least not yet. I hope she studies her craft after she finishes school. I think that could help her greatly.

And Marilyn Monroe?! Uh, no. Emma looks very pretty in those pictures, but she doesn’t look like a young Marilyn Monroe. I’ve seen what she looked like and I’ve watched her films. Monroe did not resemble Emma in the slightest.

Avatar Image says:

She’s so pretty, and I love the dress!

Avatar Image says:

Emma looks lovely as always and it’s wonderful see her growing into such a beautiful woman.

It’s unfortunate that the small minority of Emma haters out there will take any opportunity to voice their hateful, un-warranted and un-deserved opinions toward Emma.

I, along with most HP fans I’m sure, think she has done a wonderful job portraying Hermione and I am sooo glad it is her face that will be forever linked to our Miss Granger. WooHooo!!!

Avatar Image says:

she looks pretty, love the dress but the shoes don’t match at all, and are a nightmare to walk on in grass.

Avatar Image says:

She looks so pretty in these! And I like what she’s wearing, just nice and simple. I haven’t always been so fond of her fashion choices but she’s a teenager so you just can’t judge her too harshly(everyone has fashion mistakes as a teenager, only difference is that she has had to grow up in front of the whole world…) Lovely. And she looks so good with red lipstick! You rock it, girl.

Avatar Image says:

she has grown into such a lovely young lady!only emma can pull off a err..18th century-like dress!haha..her hair is gorgeous and so is her lipstick!and she’s got such a lovely skin/complexion!a real beauty to boot!woahh….cant believe wht she’ll be at the hbp premiere!

Avatar Image says:

She does look stunning but like many of you I disagree with her acting. The only reason she wins these awards is because she’s pretty and is the main girl of a multi-million pound film. For those wondering whether she is nice…I met her in Oxford in 04 and she refused a photograph. She said, “I don’t like having my photograph taken.” Make your minds up about how polite that is when I’ve seen her pictured with fans outside of film events…

Avatar Image says:

Is this the same Polo Day Event that snubbed Katie Price? I wouldn’t be surprised anyway, Emma Watson has way more class than Jordan lol.

Avatar Image says:

1. I’m surprised the first comments were about her acting. Especially, since the post isn’t about her acting.

2. She is lovely and she looks nice. Sometimes I don’t like what any of the girls are wearing (Emma, Katie, Evanna, Bonnie, etc.), but then I remember what it was like being that age and I think about what I wore. When you are young you are free to experiement and wear things that make no sense. Cause, when you do it as an adult, you might come off looking like a fool. So, I say, do what you want….

3. The only thing I don’t like are the shoes. Oh, they are very pretty, but I don’t shoes that make your pinky toe hang off to the side like that. It looks painful (I’m sure it’s not, but I wouldn’t want my shoe to do that. It’s not her, I’d wonder that about anyone.

Avatar Image says:

There are some unflattering pics of Emma from that same event on justjared.com

Avatar Image says:

Some of the comments here must have been posted by Pavlov’s dogs. Whenever there’s a story about Emma Watson, the “dogs” come out to trash her acting. The rest of us will have to excuse them. It’s the whole conditioned response thing. The “dogs” just can’t help themselves!

Avatar Image says:

@Maureen- She was fourteen years old and at the most awkward stage of her life! If I were her I wouldn’t have wanted my photo taken unless I had a professional to do me up first. It’s too bad she wasn’t older, because then you probably would have gotten a pic :(

Avatar Image says:

She looks soo pretty. i love that dress! It actually looks like it’s hot outside which is surprising considering she’s in England. :P

Avatar Image says:

@LoveHP: lmao. that’s hilarious and sooo true. I mean seriously. we get it some of you don’t like her for various reasons that make absolutely no sense because they’ve never met her and don’t know anything about her. lol. but i love your metaphor. it’s brilliant!

Avatar Image says:

ola pues la berdad es una puta barata como pudo mostrar su rropa interior me desepsiona

adios

Avatar Image says:

Tira de afuera, loco.

Avatar Image says:

@ LoveHP, I so agree with “celia”. BRILLIANT.

Avatar Image says:

Emma looks stunning!* And that dress is fabulous!*

Avatar Image says:

Is that Emma Watson? With that smear of bright red lipstick I thought I was looking at a picture of Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Avatar Image says:

have to say you like more beautiful than ever Emma, good on you girl :):):):)

Avatar Image says:

Ms Watson has become a lovely young lady.

GOOOOO Emma!!!!!

Avatar Image says:

I will live a sad and lonely life since I arrogantly insult people I don’t know who have done no wrong to me.

Avatar Image says:

i think emma is a great actress. she has got more beautiful and she has good fashion and she knows who to kiss the right guy sat the right time in the 7th book.

Avatar Image says:

I think every actor has a special mark and does not do well to compare them.

Avatar Image says:

hi emma . i luv u and will luv u for the rest of my life.

Avatar Image says:

Whatz up with you guys? Do you always have to find something wrong about them to critisize? whether or not she is good in red lipstick does not matter. The fact that she is way good in Ballet Shoes does not mean you should critisize her role as Hermione because in Ballet Shoes she is portraying a different person. Not to be rude: BUT GET A LIFE!

Avatar Image says:

the black clutch looks heavy and out of season with the summery white dress and the shoes are an awful choice to traipse about on grass and gravel with the pinky toe hanging out. Hope she doesn’t twist her ankle…Kudos for keeping the upswept hair up in the summer heat. Don’t get the errant string either…

Avatar Image says:

The dress is lovely!! ^ I would buy it for myself if it weren’t Chanel’s or from other haute couture brand. But that big bag is awful. And I would have chosen white bag and sandals. But she looks very pretty all the same!! ^ She’s more and more stylish every day!! _

Avatar Image says:

Emma’s beautiful. Her acting seems to be improving and her decision to be trained in Shakespearean acting at RADA shows she aspires to improve. Of course, there first has to be talent, but an average actor with a strong desire to succeed, has a better chance than a great actor with less ambition. Emma is nothing if not ambitious. I only hope that her well developed sense of self confidence doesn’t trip her up in her personal life. She seems to have “Scarlett Ohara” personality with regard to men. This coqettishness may just be due to her age – she is only 18, but she’s playing with fire. Emma is not Hermione in real life, but she does bear, whether she wants it or not, a responsibility to the integrity of character, especially if she wishes to be remembered in her later years for her acting rather than her beauty, which will fade in time.

Avatar Image says:

I am dissmayed! I was right there at cartier and didn’t even realise she was there! shame that she went to the Chinawhite party and not smyle cos i was there! If she reads this, which i very much doubt, I would advise her strongly to attend Smyle next year as it is so much more fun!

Thanks,

Pologod

Oh BTW, all of you self rightious loosers, do us all a favor and shut up with your pretentios rubbish about ‘humm i think that the proformance in HPCOSQWERTYUIOP was rubbish, wash your brain out’ get some friends and get out more!
