That was brilliant!! I could still feel the pump of blood inside me, the excitement, the thrill, the nerves, the special feeling of connection to the world of Harry as I experience everytime I relive the books!, the happiness it brings for the fact that I’ve spent years of my life probing the mysteries of Hogwarts!!

Thanks JP for this wonderful New Year’s treat! and more thanks to JK who inspires me a lot!

Very nice, yes, but I would have liked to see a segment about the phenomenal creativity the series unleashed in the form of fan fiction, editorials, wizard rock, etc. Also, the era of wildly creative online speculation about the contents of book 7 was, for me, the cornerstone of what makes the Harry Potter book series a phenomenon.

Thank you JP. I watched this in my lunch hour at work and am now struggling not to cry. I don’t care if you think I am a saddo – I am going to miss Harry, Ron Hermione and many others in Harry’s world. I know they are not ‘real’, but they have lived in my imagination and heart for so long they may as well be. I realise that is a mere fraction of what Jo must feel, though.
