Frankly, I’d gladly sacrifice Luna’s blathering in favor of some Sanguini. That part where he tries to sidle over toward the girls, and his companion scolds him… I don’t know why, but it cracks me up every time. It would be all kinds of awesome if they kept that part.

Don’t worry performingmonkey, Dan said a few months ago there’s a scene where Harry begs Slughorn for the memory, pretending to cry and begging him to do it to honor Lily Potter…I think it was something like that…so there’s definitely Lily! :D

And the bit where Draco is dragged in by Filch accused of “gatecrashing” and then is all flustered but starts sucking up to Slughorn immediately.

@Paulo: Luna didn’t die her eyebrow yellow, because Harry specifically told her not to. Also, she wore the yellow dress at Bill & Fleur’s wedding, not Slughorn’s party. As I recall, the dress she wore to the party white or silvery, with stars or spangles or something.

Sorry, I’m just very pedantic about details like that. ;)

@cristipotter: really?? exactly where and when did dan say that because i don’t remember a scene in the book where Harry “pretends” to cry when he’s talking about his mother. i know in the scene in Hagrid’s hut when harry has taken the felix felicis and he’s trying to get the memory, Slughorn starts to cry and Hagrid is crying but i don’t think Harry cries or “pretends” to cry but it is an emotional scene. anyway, i don’t think harry would have to pretend to cry when it comes to lily, i’m sure he would really cry.

One of the funny things about the trio is how -academically at least, they appear to be in accordance with their characters ! But they each deserve a massive amount of credit as to their minders and -most importantly of course, their families; no Lyndsay Lohan’s among them at all !
