Now that the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD has been released and is currently playing here in the States on many IN Demand cable or satellite television services, there are also new behind the scenes clips now showing as well. As such, we were able to capture a few of these "making of" clips, including videos detailing the meticulous work involved in creating the Dementor attack in Little Whinging, as well as one on the making of the Weasley Fireworks and their flight to freedom scene. While the others we have seen online via other sites previously, we now have them here in our video galleries, including in ipod friendly form.

Thanks much to our own Chris Dotson for these!

  • Dementors at Little Whinging
  • The Room of Requirement
  • Weasley Fireworks Display
  • Ministry of Magic Atrium
  • Harry and Cho

It’s too bad they didn’t show more of the actual twins and their experience; but these are great!

I think some of these were on the extra disk I got when I bought my DVD from Target. I know I saw the room of requirement and I think the ministry of magic. I have to go back and look at that disk again.

I really like these. While I’m glad that an effort is finally being made to document the process of creating the films, it’s too bad they decided to put them all on the HD releases and not the DVD.

Ferder, I wholeheartedly agree! Our household is still waiting for BlueRay and HD to finish duking it out before we switch – so we still only have regular DVD’s. (I don’t want to get caught with two machines again like I did with Beta and VHS) A hearty thank you to Leaky for posting these for us poor sods whose 2nd regular DVD disc was so dissapointing.

Its not fair! Whats the point of realeasing a special double DVD, if the bonus disc barely contains any of the extras that the HD- DVD or Blu ray has.
