It’s a nice poster. The emotion is there, but the cave is not dark enough for me. I always thought the cave should be pitch black, and I may need to read HBP a 4th time, but I was certain the cave scene took place at night. Just not dark enough for me. The darker, the creepier, and I want this scene to be creepy scary!

The maker has the right idea. WB needs to make at least one poster of the cave or something Dumbledore and Harry. And we need to see one with Draco and Snape. Another with the potions book featured. And a Harry and Ginny one because it is the most important romantic relationship. We will probably get a Ron, Hermione, and Lavender one too, but that is not as important. Oh, and we’ll get a classic trio one.

I agree with Eriskay. Artwork is a nice photoshop job but the tag line was dumb even if it is a quote from the book.

I think the poster itself is really awfully done to be honest, but I get why you guys like it. Even though it’s not very artistically appealing the message it’s trying to convey is very emotional. Probably more emotional than the actual film will be. It sounds like the HBP movie is going to be 90% high school romance doesn’t it? And they’ll probably stick some happy go lucky music on the end and everyone will LOVE it. Ugh. No thanks.

The silhouette of Dumbledore looks like Richard Harris, may he rest in peace.

And, please, let the “I am with you” quote remain as written in HBP. It is one of the most moving messages of the series!

It is beautiful, though I would prefer a more “tempest tossed” sea outside the cave entrance. I agree with the posters who mentioned the strong emotional impact, also with those who disapproved of the unfortunately misquoted tagline. Leaky readers are pretty sharp to have noticed so many minute mistakes in this fan art poster.

I can’t wait to see the real thing!!!!!!

Wonderful poster! I would’ve mistaken this for an official poster if i hadn’t seen it initially via this news post. It really is an excellent poster, and a good portrayal of the dark, foreboding, serious, and very epic mood of HBP. On the flipside, the tagline would have been a good oppurtunity to get the point of the movie across, but it is not very well utilized in this case. Plus, I don’t think that is an actual line from the book. The screenwriters should really try to stick with canon material for the overarching themes of the movie, which would be taking lines directly from the novels.

That being said, I would love to be the creator of this poster! Good publicity, you know?

On a completely unrelated note, I’m so excited for this movie. I know they’ll do a wonderful job.

I’m with Eriskay, the words should be real (even if the pic is a fake): it should say, “I’m not worried, Harry, I’m with you”. Why do people think they can come up with better words than Jo?!

Whoever made this poster did a very good job! I saved it because I liked it, however, I was pretty sure that it was a fake from the moment I saw it. If you notice the date, it is obvious that it has been tampered with! Anyway, congratulations to the maker!

I agree with Eriskay!

Beautiful, lovely, incredible poster….but the quote was awful. I cringed.
