This all sounds awesome! First!

Avatar Image says:

Oh my! I can see the mark of the Hallows!!!! I didn´t imagine the ring like that, but it´s cool anyway. Can´t wait till July…

Avatar Image says:

lol

What a treat to get these products and images so ‘early’

Avatar Image says:

I wanna collect all the Horcruxes!!!

Avatar Image says:

OMG. No way! I want that ring so bad! It has the DH mark on it! Ohhhh goshhhh. =)

Avatar Image says:

They seem kind of mediocre for Noble Collection, but it is pretty awesome that ring has the DH symbol on it.

Avatar Image says:

well i guess that now noble’s has come out with a replica of sytherin’s locket and its the one we all saw earlier its a done deal that its the one , alas they loused it up ah well its still cool

Avatar Image says:

interesting if you go to skymall ans clickon the locket it calls it the ” The Forged Slytherin Horcrux Locket ” which leads me to believe that this is a replica of the locket Regulus had Kreacher leave in the basin in the cave inthe place of the real locket , wish i had taken a closer look at it before my first post XD

Avatar Image says:

I really dislike all of those. Have the people who designed them actually read J.K. Rowling’s descriptions?

Avatar Image says:

Same as the above. Those aren’t anything like the descriptions in the book. What’s up with the slytherin locket? And these objects don’t look dark enough. I’ve seen the English cover of half blood prince on the internet and it has the ring on it, it looks good on their, this one looks not like the book, but cool anyway, I say the best object from harry potter was the tije turner. That was cool.

Avatar Image says:

maybe i just read those descriptions wrong in the books… that is NOTHING like i imagined the ring or locket! first time ive been so disappointed in a product because i would of quite liked to get those…but i won’t now.

oh well.. i guess they can get some stuff wrong..definatly wrong in my eyes.

Avatar Image says:

I want Ron’s wand, why do they never sell that one. It’s always Harry and Hermione. lol

The other’s are well cool, I want the locket!

Avatar Image says:

Not impressed witht hese at all. Noble usually has such good stuff. Natalie they do have Ron’s wand and several others. Just use the Noble Collection link and scroll down the page. It is closer to the bottom, you would think they would put it up next to the other two.

Why doesn’t it surprise me that Sylvie helped get the word out on this? This is precisely why I like to have friends who don’t need to sleep as long as there is one more Harry Potter scoop to be had. It won’t be long before Sylvie has a bead on where Dumbledore used to buy his comfy woolen socks. Thanks Leaky, Sue, and Sylvie!

@ Ravenclawguy1972: I think you’re right on the money! I think it IS the “replica locket” that Regulul left! It doesn’t have “Slytherin’s Mark”....It doesn’t look anything like”...there are no discriptions of the Locket that Regulus left! I’ll bet the “Slytheryin Locket” is still being worked on. They’re probably taking a bit more time with it, because of the Snake! The ring is pretty neat. The discription, in the book, is “a faint marking of something that is seen on pages of ‘Beadle The Bard’ and the gravestone”! [paraphrased, of course]! JMHO! Remember, ‘Alorra Spinnet’, the locket was a fake! So it wouldn’t be too “pretty” would it? Noble seems to be doing a good job. Again, JMHO!

Avatar Image says:

I really wish they would have stuck with the descriptions in the book. But all in all I think they are very well done. I WANT DUMBLEDORES SOCKS!!! :P

Avatar Image says:

I hate the locket, even though i want it still, and the ring looks so cool, with the DH sign on it.

Avatar Image says:

Are you guys kidding? Marvolo’s Ring looks WAAAAAY better than the one illustrated on the British HBP Cover. And that Locket is pretty much confirmed to be the fake one, so don’t make a big deal of it. I think that they did a pretty good job so far with the Horcrux’s.

I’m just disappointed that they didn’t show the real Locket in the OoTP movie, or the Diadem in the HBP movie.

Avatar Image says:

johnathan, how would you know that the diadem isn’t in the hbp movie? it isn’t even finished yet.

Avatar Image says:

I had pictured a big black stone for the ring, set in silver instead of gold. The one they used looks like a piece of slate, and it k inda clashes with the gold. It makes it look really costume’ish.

And Ron’s necklace doesn’t look how I pictured, either. It’s delicate and looks like it would be easily hidden. I’d pictured something very large and obvious, so as to be mortifying to wear.

I’ll keep fingers crossed that the locket is just RAB’s replacement one.

I’m glad to see the sign of the DH on the ring, but… I dunno, I’m definitely disappointed. I usually really love their stuff.

Avatar Image says:

That neckless is not a locket… a locket is a neckless that opens… why would they call this neckless a locket at all?

Avatar Image says:

ok actually in regards to my last post I’m confused, I see slytherins locket is a locket, but what is Ron’s neckless? When did he have his own neckless in the book?

Avatar Image says:

why can’t they ever follow the descriptions from the book?!

Avatar Image says:

Did I miss something? What’s this “Heart Necklace” of Ron’s? I don’t remember him owning anything remotely like that in the books – just the “my sweetheart” necklace that Lavender Brown gave him in book 6.

Avatar Image says:

Come on people. That heart necklace IS the necklace Lavender gives him . Why would it be anything else. They obviously chanced it from ” My sweet heart ” according to these pictures.

Avatar Image says:

They did follow the descriptions from the book.

They didn’t change it. We know they call it the my sweetheart necklace from pictures we’ve seen.

Avatar Image says:

They just don’t do it for me. The locket looks afwul, just awful. And shouln’t the ring have a crack in the stone???

Just one more piece of the film that I am unhappy about.

Avatar Image says:

dislike both of them and they don’t look like their up noble collection standards

Avatar Image says:

OMG!!! I love the ring I think it looks pretty good. The people who have to fashion these items from Jo’s desccriptions into real life do a good job with just about everything in my opinion. Loved the Marauder’s map, the prophecy, all the wands are really amazing (thank you Alfonso Cuaron) and just ya. The locket is pretty cool and it isn’t the real thing, it’s the fake one. I’m soooo going to collect all the horcruxes and the hallows (too bad they don’t make the invisibility cloak yet)

Avatar Image says:

I wanna collect all the Horcruxes!!!

you probably need a permit for the snake, a special permit, cause it’s the size of an anaconda and poisenous as a black mamba.

Avatar Image says:

I am pretty much convinced this is the way WB is going to show us the locket and the ring and that they ignore completely the discriptions from the book. They have done that very frequent and in many cases I am glad they did, because following the written picture to the letter had resulted in some very drap and dull pictures or situations that just don’t look well.

for instance the schooluniforms with the housecolours are nowhere to be found in the text, instead of that Harry and friend would have looked like blackdressed Mickey Mouses in the Soccerors Apprentice. Not sexy, definately not sexy.

But the locket, which certainly is not the fake locket, looking yellow, either with amber or citrine is a bit of missing the target. Yellow is such a Hufflepuff colour, Slytherin would have use green smaragd or precious stone of that hue.

I also wonder how they gonna play out the “S” from Selwyn, what cause d Harry to stupify Umbridge when there is no ‘S’ on it, only some unrelated alchemic symbols.

Avatar Image says:

Okay, now I know exactly what I want this Christmas, the triwizard champions wands and Lucius Malfoys walking stick, that would make my year. Fluers wand is so cool looking. I like the locket but the ring looks nothing like I pictured it and is that the Deathly Hallows symbol on the ring? I can’t remeber that being on the ring, but I may be wrong.

Avatar Image says:

THIS LOOKS STUPID!!!! MY POST REPEATED ITSELF 8 TIMES!!!

Avatar Image says:

@Kamion: I do believe that the locket, shown so far, is the “fake” locket. Left by Regulus. I don’t see any sign of a stone, on it [I may have missed it?] In the book, it [the fake Horcrux] is desctibed as NOT having the snake on it…. which is the first thing Harry notices…as well as the size.It would be reasonable that this would be the fake. I am also of the opinion, not knowing how Noble works, that it is taking time, as they want it “just right”.

Avatar Image says:

@jiselle: The Deathly Hallows symbol was the marking that Marvolo said was “Slyherin’s Mark”....he thought it was the Peverel coat of arms. My thought, on the Locket [the “real” one] is that they are taking extra time to make it “just right” KInd of like Tonner and NECA [?] did with the dolls. JMHO

Avatar Image says:

First, that is the fake locket that Regulus left. It doesn’t have Slytherin’s mark on it. Second, isn’t the necklace supposed to have “My Sweetheart” on it. Liked the ring, though. The Deathly Hallows sign looks so cool.

Avatar Image says:

okay there is a tiny descrpition of the locket regulus had Kreacher replace the horcrux with and here it is as is found on page 609 of the american paperback edtion of HBP ” This was neither as large as the locket remebered seeing in the Pensieve, nor were there any markings upon it , no sign of the ornate S that was supposed to be Sytherin’s mark” so the one showninthe calandars and the replica Noble’s has put out fits as the fake horcrux harry and dumbledore get from the cave. , on the Diadem of Ravenclaw it isn’t in HBP as Dumbledore did not it had been found by Voldemort, so he never mentioned it specifically, just that it was highly likely that Voldemort had found something of either ravenclaw’s or Gryffindor’s and that the only know relic of Gryffindor was safe, it being his sword. as for the ring i pictured the stone as being black as well and the book bear me out on this , from page 207 in the american packerback edtionof HBP ” For a moment harry thought Gauntwas making an obscene hand gesture, but then he realized that he was showing Ogden the ugly, BLACK-STONED ring he was wearing on his middle finger” WB loused it up as that ring is neither a black stone nor is it in anyway ugly, although they got the metal corret it is supposed to be gold, i do not blame Noble’s for it as they could only replicate what WB had made for the movie

Avatar Image says:

Okay the ring i can kinda deal with…but as the person above said…BLACK!

i kind of imagined it chunkier and less rigid and pointy looking…

BUT THE LOCKET! what the hell! If this is the replica then I’m totally fine…if this is the proper thing WB need to maybe read some books at a certain point…maybe…i dunno?

Where is the S? harry is supposed to look at the snakes and know what to do? its not even round! the locket on the front of the adult DH was perfect and exactly how i pictured it…this stuff is just all wrong…

I’ve never complained or anything…but can u do something right for a change wb?

Avatar Image says: oh come on now, everyone who's whining! i wouldn't ever buy stuff like this, cos it's pretty tacky to begin with, but there's no reason to complain that the products don't match the book's description! let the artists have a little vision of their own. Avatar Image says: If you want a sweet-heart necklace like Ron's go to a market or LizziDukes *Other establishments are available!*-----Cheaper too! I thought the ring would be more like a large jet stone in a Fat setting. Again make one tweek costume jewellery or something. P.S. How good at marketing are they if people are commenting that they hate the designs, yet are willing to buy them anyway? Genius! Bottle it quick!Avatar Image says: That is the worst locket ever. They've got it all backwards. The eye thing is supposed to be on the INSIDE of the locket, those incompetent fools. Maybe they put it on the outside more for show since it does seem to come in a display case, and I guess they rather have it displayed closed that way. I really wanted to see a locket with the green crystal S on the front of it. Then it would have been cool to put the eye on the inside so t would have a cool effect when you open it up. Very disappointed with that piece. I think I might have to go make my own... :/ LOL @ the person who keeps writing "neckless"... ^_^ Very cute.Avatar Image says: I do not like the locket...at all. It is very ugly. Not at all what I imagined Avatar Image says: The ring looks awesome, but much less crudely made than I originally thought. The book says that it is crudely made. This is the one used in the movie. It still looks cool. The extra detail is the only complaint. Avatar Image says: The thing about the ring, though, is that each time I look at the picture I think it looks like a piece of slate/blackboard with the Hallows sign written on it in chalk. I think that's what is making it look so cheapy to me.Avatar Image says: Am I the only one who thinks Ron's necklace is a horcrux...probably yesAvatar Image says: Have you seen a little silver snake over the locket? It's twine around the chain. I think it's a fake, but this snake must be WB substitution of slytherin sight "S"...Avatar Image says: Have you seen a little silver snake over the locket? It's twine around the chain. I think it's a fake, but this snake must be WB substitution of slytherin sight "S"...Avatar Image says: I mean it can be. But Black family can use this sight too...Avatar Image says: Heh... The movie people overdoing the props, just like the wands ever since Columbus left... Avatar Image says: Ok,uh all the people who are like,OMG THIS LLCOKET SCUK, you know, there IS another side to it...so buy it and see what it looks like then. I think its cool And the ring is dope.Avatar Image says: *SucksAvatar Image says: nice spot lanan i did not notice the tiny snake, and bob you are too correct on that! I seriously hope im right and this one is the fake locket as it is so different from the one described in the book ( HBP) its not even funny, and the changes aren't defendable, artisic license is one thing but this is just totally screwing things up, add on top of that the bad job of doing the ring ( i have come to the clonclussion that they decided that the ring described in the book was too ugly to be able to get any one to want to sell replicas of it, how wrong they are if thats the case) not to mention the changeof release date, WB has really been chucking things up almost as bad as Fudge did! Avatar Image says: great, i have never got anothing like that before, i would like the locket, in the book it sounds so ..... well cool!Avatar Image says: Folks when you click on Skymall, then on the locket then on more information it reveals the following information: "The Forged Slytherin Horcrux Locket" So this is the fake one left by RAB. Avatar Image says: The ring is okay as it does, at least, have the Hallows mark on it. But how difficult is it to make a silver locket with an "S" on it? Or, for that matter, a necklace that says "My Sweetheart"? I got so excited when I saw these products listed but they are all-around disappointed and appear to be created on the assumption that we'll buy anything as long as claims to be HP-related. Rather insulting, if you ask me.Avatar Image says: thanks Quibler for pointing that out. wonder why that discription was not seen before. so it is the Hoaxcrux . next question: " Why should HP fans want to buy a hoax, when the genune item is far more elegant in their minds?"Avatar Image says: @kaimon We don't find the actual Slytherin locket until DH, remember, this is for the HBP movie.Avatar Image says: ahh!i love the ring!!I will definitly buy it!i was wondering when they where going to come up with it!i love the locket too.=D
