@ Lizzie go to wikipedia – harry potter and the half blood prince film and they have that info on that page for you – I believe her name is Georgina something but it tells you who plays her and the other smaller roles

Guys, there are TWO factors you need to consider: 1) This is a photo agency picture. A headshot, I don’t think people will book someone if they look mean or unpleasant 2) She’s NOT in costume. They do use make-up in HP to make people look like the characters.

I’ll wait to see a picture of her in costume and video of her acting (presuming she’ll have lines).

I like to think that’s why Draco married somebody else instead.

OMG! I think she looks perfect for the role. ;)

@bellasnape, Georgina Leonidas is cast as Katie Bell. Good luck to the new girl but I want to wait until WB confirm shes in. Remember Lily Potter from Snapes worst memory?

she looks pretty much how I imagine her! I liked the other Pansy too, she had that perfect posh accent: ‘does it hurt terribly, Draco?’.

Nimbus xl, I’m hoping we will still get to see the same Lily in DH. She looked great on the one photo I saw (I really didn’t like James Potter though).

ANOTHER pansy parkinson??? This is the third one!

She looks perfect. It you look closely at the picture you see her lips are smiling, but her eyes are not. That fits, to me anyway, how Pansy would look. You can never quite trust her expression… or take it at “face value”.

Hmmm…I really thought Genevieve Gaunt looked perfect for the part, but perhaps she’s just not available or they thought Scarlett Byrne would be better. And if “Scarlett Byrne” is a great name for a Slytherin, “Genevieve Gaunt” is even better, don’t you think? =)

thank you whoever corrected me, I noticed after I went back and checked. You people do take to much for granted by first apperance, I know by now I have mentioned this a thousand times but look how you reacted to Helen McCrory cast as Narcissa- the way some of you sounded was terrrible and completely juvenile, and like you’ve never heard of makeup before. We do need to calm down when we hear of a new cast member cause we tend to explode on them before we even know they are good or not. AND for gods sake dont judge by looks they do wonders with makeup. Besides this chick does look like Pansy, shes got a pug face. ACTING is what counts!

Absolutely perfect! She (although very pretty) definitely has the “pug-like” look so often mentioned in the books.

Ooh! She looks excellent for the role!! I loved Genevieve Gaunt too, but she looks even more like how I imagined Pansy! What’re you all going on about that she doesn’t look evil enough? o.O Just ‘cause she’s smiling?

She looks a lot like Pansy in this pic, however I’ve seen pictures from her myspace… and let’s just say this girl is VERY, VERY pretty. So we’ll have to see what happens.
