as a fan of fashion and Harry Potter, I’ll give an in depth analysis of clothing:)
Evanna’s style is because its hers. I am not saying she’s completely original (it’s pretty impossible in fashion) but she clearly has always liked clothes and enjoys putting them together. She also is only seventeen and i love that she’s dressing her age (though I do think the plaid with the tights is too much and I would have lost the tights to give more attention to the dresses. This would also look more formal.)
Katie looks great. She chose a classic black draped dress with mininal some sort of diamond drop jewellery and what looks like a black Chanel bag.
The shoes are gold leather and are supposed to look more like mens dress shoes than sneakers (I have them or a variation on them.) They’re great but not right for the dress. The gold of the shoes make them a bit 70s 80s rocker and therefore, to pull this off, she woud have needed to jazz up the dress a bitwith either a fitted leather jacket or some heavier jewellery. Funnily enough, Emma’s cuff would have pulled the shoes in a bit because of that eye catching sheen. I thought it was silver- scratch that.
Which brings me to Emma. She is beautiful but she’s not so great in the fashion department. What I mean by this is that putting clothes together in an interesting way doesn’t come naturally to her. I think the dress is ill fitting and she seems awkward in it. I also just done like it. It’s too princessy for it’s shortness and I would have done long ahir if you’re going to shop tat much skin (legs and top)The cuff totally doesn’t go and is black and brown. The shoes…would have been better on Katie. If you’re going to wear a white dress, accesorizing is hard. You kind of have to keep within it’s palate (accessorize with pastels, metalilics or off white.) Unless you know what you’re doing. For example, Evanna really could pull of that dress easily because she has the style gene in my own opinion. I also REALLY wish Emma would show her teeth when she smiles!

lol. Which is also probably why Dan didn’t attend. I wonder if he was asked about that by the press. Guess we’ll have to wait for the tabloids to make up stories about this event.
As for fashion, yah, even if Emma was included on some best dressed list recently, I think it’s more to do with the brand of clothing she chose rather than HOW she wears them. That figure hugging dress doesn’t do much to accentuate her thin figure. And her posture is not good. She’s hunching in some pics. Probably because she didn’t quite fill out the top of her dress. But if it’s Chanel or Burberry, you can bet Emma will land again in some best dressed list.
i was speechless wen i saw emma’s outfit..she looks simply breathtaking..i did hold my breath..wow..such a lovely dress/colour..shoes,style,makeup..simply everything…

I don’t like Emma’s acting, but I do think she looks beautiful here. I actually like her shoes with the dress: a bit unexpected, but the bracelet brings them in. And the thin ruffles etc. are nice. Katie’s dress is pretty, but something is missing. I love the yellow with Evanna’s outfit, although I wish she had just left it at the purse, without adding the shoes. The idea was great with that checkered black and off white, but I think she should have kept it to one item so that the onlooker could puzzle it for a while, and then like it. The shoes make it too intentional. I’m not sure I like how her dress bunches to the side. It may be part of its style, but it looks unintentional… I like the red rose, too. I think I agree with whoever said she should have had sheer stockings, and I think high heeled sandals would have looked nice: with several thin straps of off white and black and gray. I don’t know what I would have done for Katie’s shoes though. But back to Emma, I wonder if she had someone do her hair and make up. She somehow looks strangely perfect. She outshines the other two, and I can’t say it pleases me, since Evanna and Katie are better actresses.
the ugliest batch of pictures i’ve seen in a long time. watson needs rest and fashion consultant. she looks horrible with bags around her eyes, and what’s with the ripped look dress with loose upper part and will you call that decent sandals?

Bonnie isn’t filming. She just wasn’t there, neither was Matthew. Does that mean he’s not filming. I heard Bonnie maybe filming one day this week, Friday. To be honest, it’s a good thing she wasn’t there. The last few outfits I’ve seen her wearing have been just awful. She looks like a guy in a dress most of the time.
Petes, Matthew was at Collectormania yesterday, that’s why he wasn’t there. Dan, Rupert and Bonnie, however, are filming this week.
I don’t understand why everyone’s so harsh on what the kids wear. emma watson hater (that name is a bit childish), what’d Emma or Evanna ever do to you? Petes, what’d Bonnie ever do to you? You guys sound ridiculous picking on teenage girls.
All the girls look pretty. I’m glad they’ve all kept their own styles, and haven’t gone with the typical “hollywood starlet” look.

i was just on the Empire awards website and there’s this whole minute by minute blog of the night. and apparently the guy who wrote has a crush on Emma. lol. but he was also talking about the acceptance speeches and Matt Damon’s sounded really funny. I love Matt Damon!!! And Jason Isaccs looked SMOKIN’ last night. i mean DAMN!
@bebe: i’m gonna have to agree with you. I think Dan and Emma both did a really good job. So did Rupert but he wasn’t nominated…Again! but anyways, I saw Atonement and I did not like it at all. it was waaay too sad. lol. it just pissed me off. but James McAvoy’s acting was brilliant. He was really good. I didn’t really like Keira Knightley though, mainly because of the accent she was doing in the movie. But she is a good actress, I love her Pride and Prejudice.
I really thought that Emma and Dan would win. Darn! I thought if they invited a nominee and made him /her a presenter, s/he’d be a sure fire winner. But Emma was there and she didn’t win.
