We’ve just had word from Dan Radcliffe’s publicist that there’s been a change of plans for the New York run of “Equus,” slated to begin this September at the Shubert Theater in NYC. The last fifteen minutes of the play usually includes a pivotal scene by Radcliffe, in which his young troubled character reenacts the circumstances surrounding the blinding of six stable horses. The scene is usually played nude, but Radcliffe, responding to concerns raised by parents of young Potter fans when the show played in London’s the West End, has announced he has worked with the director to play the scene fully clothed instead.
WB said: “We support Mr. Radcliffe’s artistic decision. If he wants to perform fully clothed, we’d never stand in his way.”
I nearly believed the headline, but when I read the article it became quite clear that it’s April fools day, lol! Especially the last sentence gave it away :-)
It’s just not funny to take Dan’s nudity away from us. (okay.. maybe it is a little funny) My sisters and I are planning a special, girls only, trip to NY just for this. I think I may have to torture my little sister and insist that this he realy will NOT be taking off his cloths. She’ll hate me when she finds out it isn’t true.
What? No HP boxers? The smiley faces are more suited to Fred and George, I think. Daniel needs boxers, with little “HP”s and the lightning scar logo sprinkled about.
Then those non-Potterheads can think it’s also a social commentary on Hewlett Packard and the electrical/electronic era, which drives the stableboy to madness…
Awwwww. man now there’s no reason for me to see it….jk. but anyways, all these April fools jokes are cute. i always get soo confused though cause i can never tell what’s real and what’s fake. i’m too gullible. lol. but i hope dan is still gonna be naked. blushes
OH MY GOSH, I feel like such a dumbass, I actually believed that until I read the other comments and saw everyone was talking about April Fools Day.
It actually wouldn’t be that shocking if that were to happen seeing that no offense that Americans are more weirded out by stuff like that, but I can’t believe I actually believed it. ha ha, nice joke:D
either this is true, or this is a VERY deep april Fool’s joke, but since we cant just email his reps asking this, well just have to wait, nice photoshop, and check out another certain website April Fool’s as well
Wow! Too bad for all of the H/H shippers! My husband told me this morning that he’d heard that Emma Watson would be joining Dan Radcliffe in Equus this fall in the role of his character’s girlfriend. We’ll see what tomorrow brings! ;)

Heheeeee what a way to get the fangirls riled up! Awesome, you never disappoint! Leaky and Mugglenet’s April Fools jokes are like, the only thing cool about this day! :)
Harry watched the girl and her mother disappear as the train rounded the corner. Houses flashed past the window. Harry felt a great leap of excitement. He didn't know what he was going to but it had to be better than what he was leaving behind.
I nearly believed the headline, but when I read the article it became quite clear that it’s April fools day, lol! Especially the last sentence gave it away :-)
And nice boxer shorts, lol!
