To anyone who is new to our little group, Welcome! ;)

Since our ages range from around 12 to around 69, not all of us (myself included) really understand IM shorthand. You can consider this a chance to use your big “dress up” vocabulary.

Most of us are female, but we do welcome and cherish our male friends. We come from pretty much all backgrounds and economic situations. Most are or were married and have children. Most of the adults have some college or university education, but it is not required to follow the discusions.

All of our regulars have caused me, at least, to stop and think of some aspect of the Potterverse a bit differently by their own analysis or opinion.

We do not suffer Trolls lightly and most will go to any lengths to get them banned.

Any honest opinion or question will be given serious treatment.

If you have been back-reading you are mostly aware of these things and that Melissa and the elfs give us a lot of latitude in not forcing us to stay on topic.

Of course, if they did force us to stay on topic, the Poll Comments wouldn’t ever be over 2 pages long.

Of course, as has been said, our biggest rule is that we can agree to disagree. These rules, guidelines, standards of behaviour or whatever you want to call them, are just what we have worked out over time and are not “official”.

The only “official” rule is that we stick to Leakys general PG13 appropriate content. ;)

Ironsos Hmm, I don’t see a red x in a box. Is it where the avatars are supposed to be? I still see them, though sometimes gravatar/Leaky gets weird about displaying them. I would try ctrl-F5 again.

Though you bring up a good point. I have seen the little red X when I mix in ! and ?’s and the computer gets confused.
