I hope you feel better, MM! Maybe you can post now during the day without feeling too guilty about it. ;)

Good morning, Huff. Try not to work too hard – its not good for you ;)

Deanie, I hope you feel better, too. Slurking always brings out the best in me!

Good morning, Mistic and anyone else lurking, slurking, murking, whatnot….

Hi, Mistic. Its rainy, I’m tired, and I don’t want to be at work, but, alas, earwax. (whine whine whine, I know) My advisor is taking me out to lunch and I’ll probably leave mid-afternoon, so it won’t be that bad…until I get home and have to clean my house. Ugh!! Hope you’re having a happy hump day!

MM, I must say that I enjoy seeing your avatar during the day…in a very selfish way ;)

Because for me to enjoy your avatar, you have to be sick. I’m not really saying I’m glad you’re sick, but I enjoy playing with you during work hours nonetheless….

laura you really are too kind, I have tears in my eyes at the thought of the sacrifice you must have made today while picking up the slack for me. I’m still busy but a bit fuzzy headed so i think i might go out for a walk in the bright sunshine. Also my friend sent me a link on my Wall to so very fetching cowbell T’shirts, we could use them in out band?

MM sorry your not feeling too well today, I am sure a couple of days rest (while playing on leaky of course) will get you back on your feet in no time. The last time I was sick i had a lovely couple of days laid in bed watching daytime talk shows.

Hi to mystic and deanie and ES I dont think i have missed anyone have I?????

We havent heard from Ginny in a while have we? usually she is on line in the afternoon (thats the UK afternoon)

love and kisses to you all (except MM because heaven knows what disease she’ll pass on to me today – I’m blowing you a kiss instead, actually better still elmo will give you a kiss, he’s on his way now)

Posted by wolfie on May 07, 2008 @ 11:36 AM

Elmo, no more kisses please! I am sick enough already.

Wiping slobber off cheek. Yuck!

Now get off the dresser and and take my green hat off!! Those are my pearls you give them right back!!

Wolfie!!! Wolffie!!

Come and get Elmo young lady!! Who can rest with a baby orangutan running around!

Elmo, get off Herbert’s back! He is not a horse!

Herbert stop running around trying to shake him off!! He is hanging on with one hand an plucking feathers with his other hand!!

pfwt, pfwt, spitting feathers!!

Elmo stop throwing feathers at me! Look at poor Herbert he has a bald spot!

This is worse than a pillow fight!

I am all better boys, thank you so much.

Herbert just gallop over here by the door, I am very grateful for your rescue attempt. Just bring Elmo out the door.

Slams door shut after Herbert and Elmo. Calls after Herbert.

Just do a combover on that bald spot baby Herbert!

minerva elmo has asked to find out whether you would like him to come over and look after you – he has a cute little nurses outfit ready and he’s desperate to wear it? He promises that there will be no more kissing (unless you want him to)

Sorry for the bald spot herbert I’m making a new pillow with the feathers though so they are being put to good use

laura I have used my skills as a witch to design a pillowcase with a picture of herbert and I on it. It also says Wolfie and Herbert 4 Eva with a heart drawn around our smiling happy faces – just think, your practically my mother in law now ha ha ha ha

Good morning Leaky!

Madame M I’m so sorry you are not feeling well! I am sending healing spells your way, I hope you feel better soon. Try not to swallow any of those feathers, I don’t think they are going to help…

Deanie don’t you just LOVE Spider Solitaire? That is the greatest game ever! Unfortunately I was so addicted to it I actually had to remove it from my computer, I could not stop playing it. I know, no self-control whatsoever. I think it had a compulsion jinx on it. sigh That lasted about 6 months before I started trying to figure out how to get it back, but it is probably a good thing I never could do it, and now we have the Mac and its not on here. I wonder if there’s a download… No, don’t tell me if there is! I have enough distractions as it is!

I hope you are feeling less, um, delicate today, Ironsos. :) Hope the check up went well. Sorry I missed Frank. I think. LOL

Dragon Rider it was good to see you back, glad to know these crazy people have not scared you off. :) PaulC seems to have disappeared, though, I wonder if he will come back to play?

BWJen I agree with you on the SVA thing with Melissa 100%! And the press. They really should be ashamed of themselves. Do they not teach journalistic ethics anymore? I saw that article and didn’t even go to the full page or the comments because I knew it would raise my blood pressure. How DARE he attack her? I have gotten to the point with this lawsuit that I don’t even care what the law says or does not say, I want SVA to lose just because of how he has conducted himself. Personally, I have been on Jo’s side since the beginning anyway and the way I interpret the law she should win, no question, but unfortunately I am not a lawyer or an expert on this issue and our legal system has handed down some wacky judgements. It does not always follow the morally correct road or the one that is most logical. The way I understand it, this particular area of law is so vague and so open to individual interpretation that it makes these judgements even more difficult. SVA has stated that he never considered publishing before RDR got to him because he was himself under the impression that it would constitute copyright infringement. He should have stuck to the old adage: if there’s a doubt, don’t. That would have saved everyone a lot of grief. As for this particular article, not only was SVA clearly in the wrong and acting extremely childishly, the reporter was beyond unethical. Melissa got Rita Skeetered. (No offense to Da Beetle)

Wolfie the A Team and Airwolf? REALLY??? OMG! We need to educate you on GOOD American TV, hon. Even if you want to stay stuck in the 80s (the best decade, anyway!) there are lots of other choices… Simon & Simon, Cagney & Lacey, ummmm….. Hm. I will have to think about that, I am trying to remember. Simon & Simon was a favorite, though. Seinfeld and Friends, of course. They were a touch later, but still. OH! Magnum PI! You like beefcake, you’d love that one. :) I think I heard a rumor they are doing a movie based on that series now. I wonder who they’ll get to play Magnum? Too bad Tom Selleck is too old to do it now. At least you had the supply list down pat, chocolate and pepsi, what more does a girl need? Are curly wurlys like Cheetos?

psssssst… Rhiannon.... come’ere…. you haven’t missed out on Dan, he’s hiding out in my SECRET office behind my “main office”, thank God they didn’t find the secret passageway for that the other night. Come on back, we’ve been having a lovely time hanging out, getting to know each other and reading HP.

SO…....

That was quite an, um, EVENT in my office the other night, eh? I love how Huff yelled out that there was a party in my office and the very next post is Laura and Herbert popping up going, “Party?” LOL You all owe Huff a debt of gratitude for scourgifying my office so I don’t feel the need to punish anyone, although that is only right since she started the whole thing anyway! However, you may be interested to know that part of my office security involves VIDEO surveillance… ‘Nuff said. You can leave the blackmail payments in my In Box. :) (And it was in perfect working order, I have reviewed the tape multiple times. It’s impervious to jinxes, hexes and any other things attempting to disable it or alter the tape in anyway, so cough it up.)

By the way, that pole and the cages are EXERCISE TOOLS! I took a class. I don’t know what you all were thinking, get your minds out of the gutter!

Seriously, you guys are such crack ups, I read through it all just LMAO. Madame M skidding in, shedding her “proper” ladylike clothes as she went… ROTFLMAO!!!

Hi Lemon, I wasn’t really at the party, I was just an enabler.

And since I’ve been so remiss on catching up lately, I missed the Airwolf comment. Wolfie, that was one of my favorite shows as a kid!

lemon the A Team and Airwolf are classics, I’m not adverse to a bit of Magnum though. I also have to confess that I sometimes take a sneaky peak at MacGuyver re-runs, he’s one of my heros and after the A team I think he’s the person I’d most like to be stuck on a desert island with – he’d be so useful. I dont mind Cagney and Lacey, but it gets a bit overemotional sometimes (I have never heard of Simon and Simon – I wonder if that ever made it to the UK). I also like Blue Thunder and The Fall Guy too.

Curley Wurleys are chocolate bars – and my very favourite chocolate in the world. Its toffee covered in cadburys chocolate and stretched fairly thinly, with little holes in it (thats not a very good description, but I cant think of a better one). I had one this morning for my mid morning snack.

Good Morning Everyone,

Just what I needed today. To get on and everyone is having a merry morning. ( avatars up to their usual antics)

Thanks MM. Sorry to hear your not feeling well but glad you are able to post today. Deanie hope you feel better soon.

Laura LOL Not all mother-in-laws are a b___h! My son-in-laws actually like me. Even the ex’s do. Well most of them do.

Mistic Willow. Yes I saw the new Tiger. I’m glad he was smiling at me and not thinking about his next meal. Lol

Huff how can you think Frank was doing anything else but sleeping contentedly? Dogs are strange in the positions that are most comfortable to them. You’ll be glad to know that I won’t post my Harley dog when he is at his most comfortable sleeping position. Lol

Wolfie, give Elmo a big kiss from me. He is so sweet. A nurses uniform? Sounds like a great pillow. Herbert should like it.

wolfie, it took me a while to get into MacGyver. That show replaced Airwolf in its timeslot when it went off the air, and I was always a little bitter. But my brother LOVED MacGyver so I watched a lot of it…and Quantum Leap.

Hi, CoolG! Don’t worry, I don’t really think all are – my brother’s married and everyone loves my parents. ;)

Laying in bed with an ice pack on head, thermometer in mouth and an uranguatan in a nurse’s outfit running around the room. Herbert is on the other side with his stethascope around his neck. Feeling utterly weak to chase them out of the room.

I am better boys please, you do not need to be here. I am a big girl, I can take care of myslef.

Wotcher Ya’ll

and a good morning to you. Boss is off for 3 days – still got a ton of work to do so I’ll mostly just lurk

MM sorry you are feeling ill, being the castle medical person, you should be able to mend thyself, no? Sending healing spells your way

LemonFaerie how could you have video cameras in your office – machines do not work in such a heavily magical environment you know, good try at a bluff, tho.

Cool G your lists are fine with me, I know memory aids are very helpful

Hello to Paul C & DeBeetle tho I strongly suspect that DeBeetle is really DeHuff

Wolfie don’t believe Lemon – the 60s was the best decade, especially as they lasted untill 73(untill disco ruinned it) Simon & Simon was a detective show like Magnum PI but Magnum was much better, they were 2 brothers who were PIs together – If you want REALLY good American TV check out Hill Street Blues and St Elsewhere if you can

Cool G how about that Jeff Gordon – finishing 9th after starting 43rd?

De Beetle – remember that PB is actually a Gryffendor so the arguement could be made that any points he earned during Jeopardy could count for Gryffendor, not Slytherin even if he was playing with them – it IS interesting that he always follows ES around I wonder if she has been slipping him a love potion

bbl

Sirius You are here!

No TROLLS!! Yeah!!

I wish I could heal myself. I feel horrible.

ROTFLMAO….PB under a love potion? Why did we not think of that before? That may be why he keeps abandoning his house and teaming up with Slytherin.

Although his infatuation with the lovely ES seems quite geniune not potioned at all. That is the reason that it had not occured to me.

I second the part of all muggle contraptions not working in the castle. I am sure that our Headmistress was bluffing seeing how many she could blackmail with this fake video.

Hey Sirius nice to see you in real time. I always liked St Elsewhere, but I didnt watch a lot of Hill Street Blues, obviously I’m not as old as you (ha ha ha) so when it was first shown on UK TV it was at a time that was well past my bedtime.

Laura I think your mangy bird might be a little goldmine. I’ve just watched a very surreal article on my local TV news that reported how popular Ostrich eggs are becoming in the UK (apparantly it takes an hour to boil them!!!). I am sure I saw herbert doing a jig in the background.

mm I hope that elmo isnt going to come back to my house dressed in innapropriate attire!!!! he is an innocent baby after all

hi MM i do wish you feel better, and yes PBs infatuation with ES does seem to be genuine, it would be quite a story if they actually did hook up wouldn’t it?

hey Wolfie you should check out HSB when you get a chance – it was and still is in my top favorite shows along with Quantum Leap (my absolute fav), James at 15, then the 15 got crossed out and it became James at 16 (with the 15 still in the title but crossed out), St Elsewhere, Magnum PI, WKRP in Cincinnati, Star Trek, Star Trek: the NextGeneration and Babylon 5 so when are you going to tell the rest of the castle about 1 or 2 of the tunnels/secret passages you are Secret keeper for? I meam – I’ve shared 3 of the ones my Secret Keeper for with them, why are you not? I mean there are quite a few we want to keep a total secret, but you have a few you could tell them about.

Posted by Sirius B on May 07, 2008 @ 02:13 PM
wolfie

Sirius I like Quantum Leap, they still show it over here sometimes. I’m not a big trekkie, but I dont mind watching it – although the captain on Voyager always scares me a little bit. I wouldnt mess with her, I think she’d have me in a headlock in less than 2 seconds

As for the tunnels – well a girls got to have a bit of mystery, if I give away all my secrets now then I’ll have nothing to bargain with when I get hauled in front of the headmistress next time.

Anyways – how are things with you, are you still on track for the July Internet connection/

Sirius B, Potterboy is 17 and male, he does not need a love potion, he has hormones. Besides E.S. is entirely too sweet to stoop that low. She is not Romilda Vane! ;)

Congrats on the lack of trolls, no matter ho temporary. Do you still have an assigned quota of work to crank out? ;)

Professional Administrative Assistants Day was 2 weeks ago. So my boss took us out to lunch for it today. I was sort of good – I had the grilled boneless chicken breast and cream style corn and applesauce. Then I got bad, they had fresh banana pudding. I only ate about a fourth of it, I’m saving the rest for tonight. ;)

You are so right Deanie. Our sweet ES is definetly not Romilda Vane!

Sirius what were you thinking accusing our poor sweet ES of such a dastardly act? She will be crying when she see this.

Wolfie – I will not be responsible for what attire baby Elmo will choose out of that closet. I am too weak to keeping chooing him away from there. Herbert is no help at all. He keeps laughing (in ostrich laughter) at baby elmo and egging him on. Elmo keeps running out of the closet with different dresses.

He does seem quite familiar with all the dresses in there like he has been in there several times before. (Getting suspicious at what baby elmo and his mistress have been doing when they sneak in here.)

Hi Deannie congrats on being good at lunch, yes i know PB is 17 and ES is a sweetie, but we must remember she is a Slytherin and a Marauder so….... yes still the assigned quoata plus the boss gave us all a list of work to get done by Friday quiting time, just to keep us busy and because we are slaves, oh well – i should be able to get it done

I’m mostly ok Wolfie – my left leg is not cooperating too well with my commands to walk today but otherwise I’m hanging in there – it looks more like early August for having the net at home, things keep going slow that need to get done yesterday as far as I’m concerned.

As far as getting hauled in by the headmistress goes – if you pull a prank or go off somewhere you shouldn’t go correctly – she’ll never know it happened or was you, will she?

How’s the Hoff? I think we should have him visit forgetmenot sometime soon, don’t you?

Anyone into Ocean’s 11, 12 & 13?

Sending Locomotor spell to Sirius’ leg. Hoping that will help keep your leg in line. This bit of not obeying you when you command it to move seems like a mutiny to me.

Have you threaten your leg with walking the plank?? It may scare all the other body parts to shape up and obey the captain. :)

I do that all the time to my back and heart. I tell my heart that they have the technology to replace it if need be. The back I keep inline by threatening it that if it keeps paining it like that, I will drug it.
