PB!! Seeing you has just reminded me that the other night, there was a post in one of the news articles (Darn, I can’t remember which one!) from someone called “PB&J rules”!! I did a double-take, and re-read the post, but it definitely didn’t sound like you. It made me laugh though – apparently someone out there likes us! ;)

I have to tell you a work story.
Today at work I got a call from one of the gym teachers. He needed an administrator in the boys bathroom. Apparently there was a student in there crying and refusing to get out of the bathroom.
We sent him help and as they got to him they found him holding a wet uniform shirt. Some boys had grabbed him and written “FAT BOY” on the back of his shirt.
Now he is a little chubby but not hugely overweight. He had been trying to wash the words out of his shirt and was very upset because they were not coming off. The principal almost hit the roof she was so upset. She tracked down the boys who had humiliated him in this way.
Three boys were susupended for 5 days out of school. I got the honor of calling the mother of the ring leader to come to the school to remove her vile son from school property.
What made me so mad is that the mother wanted to know what did the boy do to her son to cause him to write that on his shirt. I almost lost it with that mother. I told her what part of your son humiliating another student did you not understand. “There is nothing that the other boy could have done that would warrant such a vile and low behavior. Your son is suspended please pick him up immediately.”
I just wanted to cry for the boy. Of all the things that happened today, he will not remember that we suspended 3 boys, he will not remember that the principal gave him a brand new uniform shirt to replace his damage one free of charge, or that she bought him lunch in her office. He will not recall that the principal had 20 boys lined up in her office interviewing all of them to investigate and get her facts straight.
All he will remember is that he was humiliated and that he cried. He will remember that for the rest of his life.
Huff you lost so many screws I may not have enough in the box. I will have to get a double batch. LOL :) Just kidding!!

OMG MM that is really horrid! Though the way the mom behaves might partially explain her son. Always trying to explain things away without taking responsibility. UGH!!!!!
I am glad you and the principal were there to help him through it. While he will have this bad memory, I think he will also remember that there were kind people there to help him.

Wow, MM, that’s horrible! I’m so glad the principal was really hard on the kids who did it; hopefully that will discourage others from doing similiar hateful things. (But then again, if the parents aren’t reinforcing the fact that the kids’ actions were WRONG, then there isn’t much hope!) :(

Then the Mom thought that 5 days was excessive. I repeated to the mother that her son’s behavior warranted the severe punishment.

I have not played the lottery for years, but suddenly, as I was trying to take my nap, two sets of 3 numbers would not get out of my head. So I had to go buy a few pick 3 tickets. I always play straight/box so that if my 3 digits come up in any order, I win something.
The pick 3’s are at noon tomorrow and the regular lottery is tomorrow evening. I have a Quick Pick for that.
Cross your fingers for me. I need all the help I can get. ;)
