Lol PP ^^

I think it’s kinda cool that they’re using the same pose quite a lot, because now it is a big feature of the HP features. I agree that it’s not a very exciting poster though.

That’s if it is real. Like Vic said – I’m sure WB would spell the title correctly before they released anything like this so maybe it is a fake idk.

His wand looks different. I think it is merely a bad manip

It seems to me they just took the picture from OotP and “aged” it a little bit.. I don’t think it is a real one..

Heh, I love masterofmystery’s comment (on the LJ community) that you can always tell which movie a picture is from by simply looking at Dan’s hair. LOL. It’s so true.

I do kind of agree with Amy S that the same old pose is becoming rather yawn-worthy. I do wish they’d try to shake things up a bit. Still, at this point, I’m just happy to have a picture, ANY picture, from HBP.

Now, bring on the trailer and the hi-res images! Please please please!

Yeah, his wand looks different there. I’m not usually one to make negative comments, but that Photoshop job made my eyes kind of hurt. ;p

I’ll take some of the yarn though, it’s pretty!

Actually vic in some languages it is just one word. In my native language swedish for example it’s “Halvblodsprinsen”. One word, just like that.

German is my native language, sparkling – it IS one word in german, that’s what’s my point. The cardboard stand spells it in two words (“Halbblut Prinz”) and why should WB do that? They’d be checking if the title were correct before releasing any merchandising ;)

Okay I get it now. I thought you were talking about the title on the poster

I’m not saying one way or the other if the picture is fake, but I do think it’s interesting (not in a snotty way, but in an observational way) that people are so QUICK to assume something is fake.

What I really find intriguing is that they usually base their belief on whether or not they personally LIKE the picture, or the scene, or whatever. I.e., “I don’t like the picture, so it’s a fake.” Remember a while back when the infamous “leaked scene” featuring an attack on the Burrow surfaced? Lots of people insisted, very loudly, that it HAD to be fake, and the vast majority of them seemed to be convinced it was fake because, basically, THEY JUST DIDN’T LIKE IT. Again, “I don’t like that scene, so it’s a fake.”

Once again, I’m not saying one way or the other whether this picture, or the “leaked scene”, is fake (I wouldn’t be surprised either way). I’m just observing that we’re awfully quick to assume that “I don’t like it” automatically equals “fake”.

So, um, the picture itself. It’s… okay. Kind of boring. Dan’s hair does match the other pics we’ve seen from HBP.

Oh well. So when are we actually going to see some new pics then?

Yeah come on WB! I mean sometimes it feels like you all are just sitting back enjoying all the forgery being created. If you want to make the fans happy instead of gunning for you give us the good stuff before the fakers get a chance to pull one over on everyone. This is so frustrating.

OMG if it’s fake it’s good fake It seems that WB prefers say that all stuff who come on web is fake that show us something real. What they do ? Ice Age 3 have 3 posters and one trailer and it’s coming summer 2009. For me despite why WB claim it’s a true picture and WB are not happy that came on web .

WB, why are you acting like this? D:< Please, throw us a bone (not a fake one!).

Yes TLC why you don’t ask WB when they intends to begin promotion from the movie because there that becomes tiring

“Am I the only knitting dork who wants to know what the connection is between HP and Opal Yarn?”

LoL! Good point.

I’m glad they said it was a fake. Honestly, who spends all of this time making fake posters and trying to pull them off as real? A fan doing it for fun wouldn’t try to mislead people.

well, you cant blame people for making fake hbp stuff, it isn’t like we’ve had anything more than two lousy pictures released. (yeah, WB, i’m talking to YOU!)
