I commented earlier and I must say, this IS a fan Poster and I was off. It did look a bit funny though, so it is not much of a surprise that it is a fake. It looked like one that you could find on a sticker book for OOTP.

People can say what they want, but I don’t think that looks like Daniel Radcliffe anyways. More like a stunt double. shrugs

That’s Dan’s hair in Ootp, and they could easily fake this things, so yeah, glad that’s fake cuz it’s pretty weird…

Despite what WB may be claiming, I believe it to be a genuine image released to the German Yarn Co. for promo purposes, and they are just back-pedalling because they didn’t expect that it would surface on the fan sites.

Dan definitely looks different than OotP and close to the 2 (ONLY 2, WB—c’mon!) official images we HAVE seen.

I’M totally agree with Hagiographer Casting Call pro annonce lot of news actors , WB= NO WORDS! ZERO. A fan site annonce a news poster , WB (quickly)= It’S FAKE!!

That makes sense. I have to laugh at those who say “Oh I knew it looked fake, blah blah blah.” Whatever! I looked very real to me and I believe that it’s a new one that WB didn’t know would be released as a POP.

Ha ha, I think Leaky should have brought back Professor Trelawney for this and make it a vision of her inner eye. Aww, I miss her already!

When a fake image or story comes out WB denies it fast but when it is a real story (like a split of the DH movie) WB does not try to deny it they just don’t say anything until they are ready. If they came out fast to deny this then I think it is a fake.

Also, during OOTP everyone was complaining that WB released to many images and to many clips and now they are holding back and the complaining is that WB is holding back images. I really don’t think any think the HP people do will make you guys happy.

The Harry looks like he’s from the HBP era, but the flames exploding behind him look kind of amateurish. If you look at it, it kind of looks like he just said “Pull my wand” to somebody and then lit a fart.

I totally knew it was fake. we would have gotten an official press release and it would most likely appear in England first.. as it should. Plus I think they would try to do a lovely dovey poster with Ginny and Harry Snogging while Ron is on his broom trying to impress hermione (but a tiny tiny Lavender Brown in the corner looks up lovingly) while Hermione does one of her knowing smirks “Boys” too bad we don’t have moving posters that would be freakin awesome. I’d like to see John do it

It looks more like a pic from OOTP publicity or character shots in my opinion. I wonder what WB will do about this? hmm?

But without the cool windblown effect. And the hand looks really weird (like a pack of sausages), the wand looks like a pepperami and the face looks like the result of a photoshop merging of someone else’s face with Dan’s!

So I sincerely hope it isn’t real as some are suggesting!

claire has a point it could be that WB is trying to throw us off the scent so to speak it could be that Opal yarn is getting and earful for releasing this cardboard cut display too soon as we speak. and i stillthink the hair is slightly different from OOTP
