OK, now this is cool: Long rumored to have been filmed for the “Order of the Phoenix” film, thanks to Oclumencia, we can now see at long last, the prisoner of Azkaban…Lucius Malfoy. You can see the photo of Jason Isaacs as Lucius, sitting in his cell in Azkaban, holding his prisoner id card, via this link.

Many thanks to Thiego!

Great picture !

This is a proof that one day WB will release an extended version of this movie.

I remember David Yates declaring at the end of the production that he has shot a 3 hour long movie.

@ qwill….I am SO with you! ROFL. I hope they put him on one of the posters, in Diagon Alley…that would be sweet! Since they didn’t use it, it Order, it would be cool BTW…I liked the ending, of OTP, and using it would have detracted. That’s why I think it would be good, in one of the many Daily Prophet front pages!

It makes you wonder how much they extra they filmed that didn’t make the final cut…I really wish they would release extended edition dvds or something.

Worry not, Cal! I know a lot of “proud Slytherins” that are laughing like mad, right now! Think about it! My husband put it this way, last night [I was watching ‘Order Of The Phoenix’....] “Ohhh, the Dark Lord aint gonna be happy with YOU!” Good thing he’s in Azkaban, eh? I’m with who ever said ” ...It would make great Wallpaper”...A Proud Gryffindor [with a Slytherin best freind!]

Hello, heinze51! And welcome to the Leaky Cauldron! pours a butterbeer for Cai The Harry Potter Fandom is always happy to take in new fans! As your friend and fellow Harry Potter fan, I must caution you to beware of spoilers for the last book in this corner of the fandom, as most of us have already finished Deathly Hallows (book 7). I do hope that everyone else will refrain from mentioning spoilers in this thread, at least.

||, that’s interesting about casting, but seeing how there are very few parts left to be cast for HBP, I can’t imagine how big of a story it could be. I’m sure the DH films will have big casting news though.

Personally, all I want if for WB to announce when the teaser will be released. I think it’s safe to say that this Friday isn’t a possibility, unless they are trying to “surprise” us. It’s looking more and more likely that we won’t see anything until Get Smart or Dark Knight. All I want is for them to say, Yes, it comes out this day. I don’t need 20 still images to go with it. I just want a day we can mark on our calenders.

That is great. I wish we could see all of the deleted material.

Er… even if they shoot a 3 hour long movie or if they have scenes of Bellatrix fighting Sirius, I believe they decide to cut these BEFORE adding in special effects. So even if they were filmed, they probably never make it into an extended version until they spend more money into FXing them up (sound too) otherwise, cutting a full blown FXed up scene is a waste of money in my opinion. They probably have scenes of Bellatrix and Sirius waving their wands around and pointing at each other like they’re dancing in the middle of a blue screened room. That’s only good for a deleted scenes extra, not for adding it into a longer version of the movie.

Back into topic, that’s one excellent pic and Isaacs is an excellent performer. This should have been added in, probably in the newspaper scenes, where you see all the wrong doings being corrected at the end. It would have given the film’s ending a sense of victory.

Don’t worry Karen, the HD DVD version of OotP had no interviews. A few DVD websites had the information that there would be but that was (very unfortunately) untrue. The special features are, in fact, profoundly disappointing and are in no way near the quality of the GoF DVD. In fact, even the PoA special features were better (in my opinion). I can’t even access the web features or film because I have a mac not a pc.
