It is truly a pity that this scene was omitted. From this picture alone, it seems safe to say that it would have been hilarious!

I do not know, something is odd about this picture. I think it is a very well done drawing, not an actuall photo.

El caz:

Yes, they probably don’t have the scene cleaned up by why the heck did Yates not at least put it as a deleted scene on the DVD? He had about 4 featurettes on editing (which no one cares about) and the deleted scenes he did have were stupid. Why do we need an 8 minute sequence of Trelawney eating?

Only the first two films had deleted scenes that actually amounted to something significant as far as character development or just little moments that were recognizable to the book. OotP is the WORST DVD put out thus far and I feel a lot of it has to do with Yates’ influence.

I fear if they ever do release anything, like a collection of all the films with extra features, then it will only be avaliable on Blu-Ray. Or they will just never release this material which would be a shame.

I think that it is interesting seeing him in Azkaban so this is a total hoot! I wonder what his precious wife thinks of him now? OH well hes still the most handsome prisoner. I hope they keep the line where Harry says to Narcissa ” Maybe they can find a double cell for you and your loser of a husband!”. Oh I would love to hear Dan say that to Helen.

This presumably would have been in the paper McGonagall (or Hagrid, can’t remember) was reading in the wheelchair in that pic we saw of the deleted scene. I simply can’t believe how much better Ootp could have been if they had -

a) included McGonagall being attacked and then this recovery scene, b) had the centaurs speak like they were going to originally, c) had the giants scene, even if it was only a quick effects shot, d) had Harry much more affected by Sirius’s death at the end of the movie, including throwing stuff around DD’s office like in the book, e) had Sirius fight Bella instead of her just randomly blasting him etc. I could go on and on. Ootp was an amazing book cut to shreds in the movie. PoA still pwns everything.
