The official site of actress Emma Watson has been updated with the news that principal photography on the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was completed on Saturday, May 17. Her site notes that now that filming on the sixth Harry Potter movie is finished, Emma is focusing on her A-level exams at the moment. The site also says that they will be posting any official photos and trailers including Emma in her role as Hermione Granger as soon as WB releases them. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on November 21, 2008.
Way to go, Emma…thanks for keep us up to date, and good luck on those A-levels! That’s seriously hard studying, but you’ll get them, you always do!

The length of filming has nothing to do with the length of the movie. The kids are no longer kids, with child labour laws dictating how long they can spend working. Hence, the movies don’t take as long to make.
Also, for those of you baying for a trailer, the teaser for OOTP came out a few weeks after principal photography finished for the movie. It didn’t come out during the making of the film, why would it this time? The trailer will likely come in the next few weeks to a month.

Filming is complete. Isn’t it time to take down the “Now Showing” link for OotP Film on the Leaky home page and put up an HBP Film Countdown ticker instead?
Why are they waiting so long for release? November 21st, thats around Thanksgiving! If we have to wait that long, then WB may as well give us several great trailers and plenty of photos to feed our appetite until November!
God damn; I’m so excited to see what they’ve done with this film, that it’s aching in my tummy everytime I think about it! Can’t believe they’ve finished, They’ve got to be a bit sad; they’re second to last film together? ..

It’s about time they said something. I was kind of mad when they said that about HBP not being attached to the narnia movie. Anyway hope we get some new HBP pictures in the next month and the trailer this summer. If the HP,HBP movie is coming out in November arent they going to do some more filming in September, October, amd maybe November? Oh and one more thing, HP, POA will be airing Saturday the 24 and they said that WB might show footage of HBP in between the commercials lets hope that’s true.
