So what picture is that? The House of Gaunt or the Burrow? And I thought they were cutting out the House of Gaunt. It kind of looks like the Burrow ‘cause you can see were the chicken coop is. But they said it was the House of Gaunt. To bad their wasn’t any sound. But still that was ok footage. Now alls we have to do is wait for the Half-Blood Prince trailer to come out online.

It’s the Burrow! They think it’s Gaunt’s house but I don’t agree…

But didn’t they cut out the Gaunts? On Snitchseeker, it just says that it’s not true or something, I don`t know. ;] But the video is pretty cool. :D

Oh yeah, duh it’s the Burrow ! :)

It’s the Burrow.

Watch Chamber of Secrets again, and you’ll see that they have recreated it, down to the concrete pigpen and the hanger style garage. The square base of the lower level, and the rickety upstairs, it’s exactly like it was in COS.

There is next to no way this is the Guants house.

Sort of spoils the magic really doesn’t it….....

Agreed, Dawn. Seeing all the blue screens and tatty grass makes it all seem so, well, artificial. (what? you mean there really ISN’T a Hogwarts?)

jimjam – Don’t worry, the video didn’t have any sound so you weren’t missing anything!

Dawn – I kind of agree too, but I’m so desperate at the moment to see anything to do with the film that I’m not really bothered if it spoils the magic. I can’t resist the temptation!

Can’t wait for the teaser trailer.

just because they cut the gaunts doesn’t mean they cut the gaunt house…

I can’t for the life of me figure out what those trees with the four walls are.

@mollywobble thanks for the answer!! @Dawn…yeah!That’s what went through my mind too..it kinda spoils the magic….. I think too that it is the burrow…I mean that’s what I thought when I saw it… As for the trees…I don’t know why but it reminds me of Aragog’s Funeral…or perhaps sth with Harry and Dumbledore?

Lance

Why is everyone saying that the scene with the Gaunts has been cut? I don’t remember hearing that at all!

Could be. I was thinking maybe the attack scene at the Burrow, but that specifically talked about “reeds”, and I don’t see any reeds, just trees. You would think it is a fairly pivotal scene though, for them to build a set for it like that. I keep racking my brains going through HBP, but I can’t really think of any scenes that would be forested like that, except maybe like you said Aragog’s funeral.

I love it but I am sad because I thought it was the gaunts house but I compared it to the picture of the burrow I Chamber movie and it defiantly is. But the rest is cooooooooooool :) ya.

I dunno … it kind of blows off the fairy dust and takes away the magic for me.

Well i think the set with the trees is where the ministry wizard sees the the signs of little hangleton and greater hangleton and start walking toward the gaunts

what is this about the Burrow being under attack and set on fire? I can understand for DH, but HBP Scrimgeour would never authorize that type of activity, well on the Weasley’s at least. I thought Harry was suppose to have special protection in HBP from the ministry…I mean I know they don’t go by the book, but adding a fire scene?

I agree with Confederate Lady I think there are surprises that they are holding for us…they can’t tell us/confirm everything we ask.

Also, I agree this looks like the Burrow and I think it’s too early to tell if the courtyard would be used as the astronomy tower…it’s been featured in a lot of the movies, but who knows…it could merely be a passing of students shot or familiar birds-eye view of Hogwarts. Also, they tear down and re-build a lot, so it’s optimistic to think Privet drive might still be included. I’m so excited though…this will be great!!

That new courtyard looks SO stupid and ugly. If there’s going to be a big fat tower indenting halfway into it, then the least they could have done is make the coutyard twice as bigger. There’s no such thing as having a courtyard with a round tower taking up one third of its space. No architect would have done that. That just looks silly.
