I can’t see the video. I’ll have to wait for a kind soul to put it on YouTube…

To view it if anyone else has a problem on the left hand side of the site there is a section where you can view the UK version of the site and the International version….pick the UK version and it will work for you.

Hmmm…what to think! I’d love to think they’ve decided to put the Gaunts and the Dursleys back in, but perhaps that’s being “optimistic to the point of foolishness,” as Dumbledore would say. Don’t know why else the Gaunts’ shack would be there if they’re not in the movie, but I imagine Harry and Dumbledore could just walk down Privet Drive without the movie showing any of Dumbledore’s visit with the Durleys (which is a crying shame, if you ask me…). Ah well, can’t wait to check out the images when I get home from work!

It looks like the base of the Burrow, especially because of that rust-colored dome building behind it in Andrew’s reference photo. I wish it was the Gaunt house though.

If you can’t see the video, don’t worry. You aren’t missing much. The screencaps will give you the general gist. There’s no sound or anything.

Wow this is so cool!! I am SO EXCITED!

It’s really weird to see half a Dursley house though….

About the house: I personally think it’s more likely to be The Burrow, simply because I can’t imagine the Gaunts to have a pigsty in their back garden. Oh and also because I thought they’d been cut =( I hope I’m wrong though!

^ It was confirmed by Richard Griffith (who played Uncle Vernon) many months ago.

Thanks for the footage! Even though they have the Privet Drive outside set, none of the Dursleys are in the cast list on IMbd. But I would dearly love to see Dumbledore “scold” the Dursleys! :-)

Could the Privet Drive set be a leftover from OotP and just saved for DH?

WOW First time I’ve been able to access something from the BBC, here, across the pond. No sound, but you could tell what each one was! Personally, I think the chosen configuration, of the courtyard of the Astronomy Tower, is perfect. There ARE no “other towers, already shown” on the exhisting Hogwarts that would “fit the bill”...Rocks and hillsides do not fit the description of how Dumbledor is “found” by everyone… Good work, BBC! Yep…How ‘bout some new pictures, a trailer and a poster, WB????

Awesome! I wouldn’t make any assumptions about who is or isn’t in the film. They are going to want to keep some of it a surprise (even though we’ve all read the book…). People can be told to say things or not to say things. IMDB doesn’t always have the complete cast list until the film is in theatres for that reason. I say keep optimistic! Who knows what they did or didn’t include.
