A new poster for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film has now surfaced online. Thanks to Coming Soon for letting us know that at the Cinema EXPOin Amsterdam, Warner Bros displayed a few official posters and promotional material, including this poster of the logo for the sixth Harry Potter film. It simply bears the title, with the year at the bottom of the poster, and does not contain any new images alas.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due in theaters November 21, 2008
I think the lights on the logo poster are just a reflection from the lights in the room where the photo of the poster was taken. I’d maybe think otherwise if this was a digital copy of the poster design, but since it is a picture, I’m pretty sure it’s just light reflection.
Hey, maybe if we print it out, we can make a Harry Potter logo paper airplane with it! Or origami thestrals and hippogriffs, that’d be fun…And I’ve always wanted to make a Death Eater paper doll…
You know, I think WB is just relying on the popularity of HP now for this movie to do well in the box office. But I honestly don’t think it will do as well as OOTP because there is no hype for anything about this movie. Twilight, a series I have grown to just not really like anymore because I don’t think it should be made into films, is getting more promotion and it is not nearly as classic as HP . WB should be starting the hype by trailers or at LEAST promotional/teaser posters right now.
Know what? The teaser’s gonna come, and it’s gonna be a slow crane shot of hogwarts with the dark mark over it, and some lines of dialogue, and then nothing… We won’t see a real trailer for the movie until September… And this poster proves it.
Alright, If for some reason it doesn’t show in front of Dark Knight, I assure you it would most likley come about on WB’s new Star Wars Movie. August 15th! Noo!
Please be Dark Knight.
i love the power that the advertising team has.. they dont even need to put picz on hp posters to get people to get interested.
and by giving no pics it makes people more impatient and more wanting to see the movie…
where can i see that frukin teaser trailer i looked on youtube and all i saw was the idiotic fan trailers people stop getting my hopes up every time i click on your trailer!!!!! can someone please put a link for the real one?
Man come on ! they just need to bust out with the trailer it has taken too long ! what the movie is like 5 months away and nothing! But then again all this secrecy is good for the movie , I just hope they don’t bring the tension to boiling point. Psssstt…. imaginge how it’’s going to be for deathly hallows !
I kinda feel like they are just giving ppl more of a reason to see Twilight! It’s been months and months and there is just nothing! unlike Twilight which has picks and trailers (and robert pattinson!). I wish they would stop screwing with us and just please give us something, I dont think a couple more pics would mess up the whole film. I probably seem really inpatient (because I am!!!) but I am just at the end of my rope with WB!!!!
This is just the same logo that is always at the beginning of every HP film. The only difference is that it says “Half Blood Prince”. WB can’t seriously expect that we’d go crazy over this.
At least it’ll only be three weeks now until we know if the teaser-trailer will be in front of “The Dark Knight”. I really don’t see it being in front of any other film…
"Ah! Bettie Bott's Every Flavor Beans! I was unfortunate enough in my youth to come across a vomit-flavored one, and since then I'm afraid I've rather lost my liking for them -- but I think I'll be safe with a nice toffee, don't you?" He smiled and popped
