Dan, Rupert, and Emma definitely aren’t required to attend big premieres for other movies. Heck, if they really didn’t want to, they probably don’t have to go to the HP premieres.
That aside, I know Rupert is currently filming Cherrybomb in Belfast and I’m pretty sure Dan is filming Journey in South Africa OR rehearsing his butt off for the Broadway premiere of Equus this fall. Emma’s been rumored to be doing some stuff, too! These are some busy actors!

It’s not a big deal. Rupert did go to the last Batman premiere. As long as representation is sent, it’s all good.
This was an event for the secondary actors to go to. No need for the trio to go- they don’t need press. Sort of sad that the other actors hardly even drew up any interest from the press, outside of evanna. LOL. Bonnie couldn’t even get one photo. Not including the fan pic that really wasn’t flattering. Pretty funny yet sad. At least evanna and the Phelps looked great.
Bonnie and Matt skipped the press photogs for whatever reason, that’s why there’s no photos of them. Evanna, Tom and the Phelps boys didn’t.

Yeah, nobody cares. . . . That’s why there’s people screaming “Ginny!. . . Bonnie!” as Bonnie walks by in the background without stopping for the press photogs in a recent video that can be viewed at Bonniewrightonline. As stated above, proof that there are no ‘official’ pics because the actress chose to skip the press photogs.

Matt was interviewed live to the crowd, which is not the same as where they take photos. I watched the video Amelia mentioned and you can tell they skipped the area that they take photos. Not their movie, so they could choose to do so.
I’m thinking that the main trio didn’t attend in order to not overshadow any of the films main stars. I can easily see D Rad making fangirls squee more over him than one of the Dark Knight actors.
Well, while I certainly enjoy seeing pictures of the Potter actors, I just have to say – Aaron Eckhart is very good looking. And what’s the deal with Bob Geldof – why did he go and name his daughter Peaches like it’s the 1930s or something? I suppose someday she’ll have to introduce herself to Apple Martin.
